I think the Codfather is way over rated despite all the award claims, we have used it twice and both times it was average at best.

Yes as above don't overlook the big tour operators, Its school hols so some major med flights will be fully booked but there are always last min deals to be had. What you need to think is that usually its spaces on the plane and not the hotel that get booked up first, so if your not fussy on flight times and prepared to go somewhere not so popular with families the big companies want your money just as much.
