Just can't see Poch putting out a full-strength team and Chelsea's backup players basically form another top Prem starting XI.

Time for Gaston to get his chance and deliver at united? (injury permitting)

Been told he wasn't on the bus. Cortese was -
Which club is that? I'd rip up my contract immediately.

Looks good, I fancy this as well.

To be fair for Chelsea away, considering it's on TV and only a week after Arsenal, probably going to have to be considerably less than £40 for us to sell our full allocation.
-
I've got a CRAZY idea... Get a refund on your original tickets?!? Mental.
-
Think it's £2 off each away ticket their fans buy

Damn. Was ready to enjoy October 1st a national holiday.

They haven't won a league game all season and believe their manager hinted at resting a few for this one. I'm heading down and looking forward to seeing a load of the new crop in action.

Brilliant. Doesn't matter if we don't score many, defensively we were solid as a rock today and with that there's no danger of losing our PL status.

Should MP be sacked if we don't get 3 points at Anfield?

Would like to do a couple of the biggies I didn't manage this season, mainly Chelsea and Liverpool. Also quite fancy a trip to West Brom. Have to see when the dates fall for the others. -
Don't know whwere you've got that from... "£10m for a 17 yr old, why wouldn't soton sell, for a middle table club left back is an easy area for them to fill. Get someone from Championship for say 2m gives them 8m to strengthen their squad." Another one said £10m was too steep.

Saw a Chelsea fan on one of their forums say £5m + Bertrand would be a good deal for all involved. I mean, just....pfft.
-
Yeah, totally choked up by that.

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

Guessing we'd prefer a Stoke win Monday? Would effectively see them have nothing to play for against us and hopefully we'll be able to hold Sunderland to a draw next week before their final game at WHL. Personally think Norwich will go down, anything other than a win against WBA next week and they're staring down the barrel. -
Would take Forster in a heartbeat, he's a cracking keeper.
-
Jeez, the man's allowed to predict a tough beating. Spurs are far more desperate for the win than City, United or Chelsea were when we played them away. And Spurs have higher quality players than West Brom, who hammered us at home.
-
Cool, from what I've seen he's been one of the best in the Prem this season.
-
Yeah, they desperately need to win. I have a feeling we'll get something as well. Can't wait!
-
Hoping for Forren at LB if no Shaw, and Fonte at CB. Without Cork stick Davis in with Morgan and put Lallana in the hole. I'd give Puncheon a start as well.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction

Gameplan didn't work. Every attack we tried to cross the ball, even near the 6 yard box we were trying to hang it up. We got dominated in the air by a well good and solid West Brom side. Lukaku is one hell of a player and they countered us well. Thankfully I never have to see Danny Fox in a Southampton shirt again. With regard to Ramirez I'm unsure on him, but doing nothing and then punching a player is making me sway in the same direction as Fox.
