Why would they give us a bigger deduction when the discussion between the Football League has been with a group of people who don't own the football club as of yet. I could see you point if the deal had already been concluded, but it isn't.

That is funny. I was in Barca the other day at the museum and I saw a board full of foreign players. There were many English players to play for Barca before Lineker. What struck me was how much of a brand Barca actually is. It is a global brand. If showed the club badge around the world it would be as identifiable as the nike logo etc. That's how Barca get their money. Southampton can never compete with that. But I agree, there is a lot about value that we could learn from. I think the motto 'more than a club' sums it up.

Some people take themselves way to seriously on here. If someone places a rumour (emphasis on the word rumour) then please take it in the way it is probably meant. Talk of his mate deserving the sack etc etc is a bit of an over reaction.

A friend of mine who writes for a welsh paper covering Swansea emailed me the following when I sent him the article link. 1. Swansea did want to do a deal in january but got messed around by saints board 2. When saints decided that offer was good enough, situation had changed dramatically. I.e. administration. 3. It has nothing to do with wotte what price Swans pay In fact he thinks that Swansea will look elsewhere if it drags on much longer.

I'd go for him. Although he does wear a crevat - not that that affects his managerial skills!

All I ask is that whoever buys the Club does so asap. Not only to safeguard the future of the Club but to ensure that the manager can make decisions on players, rather than players forcing his hand. I think we need decisions on Perry, Davis, Size etc asap and need to have a strong position with Clubs coming in for our better players to ensure a fair price is achieved.

The guy who filmed that you tube video is a complete idiot. I am embarrassed that through SFC I am associated with him. I drove home last night with fans from other Clubs calling 606 to wish us the best as we were a family Club. That footage is totally at odds with the values of our football club. I agree that the "fans" that gathered at the away end were OTT. I dont get why they would take (more than) a seasons frustration out on their fans? Was it because there was no one else left to take it out on now Lowe has gone? These idiots were clearly looking to cause trouble. Having attended a number of away games this season there is a nasty "youth" element of our Club that are going down looking for trouble. I witnessed it at Cardiff and Plymouth away and it has no place in football. Just what has happened to Saints?
