I'm trying to find it, but I'm pretty sure in October/November, The Guardian ran a piece asking the question if we were the worst team in the Premier League. They might well have been right at the time!

Every time I see Bednarek play I wonder what the hell Hughes was thinking.
-
He wasn't the first and won't be the last full-back ot have that happen to him.
-
You may not like it, and might well be surprised, but chairman Ralph Kruger did.
-
He was, ans still is, a big p****y supporter.

Ah yes, the FA Cup they bought with players they couldn't afford. And they wonder why it all went downhill from there. No doubt, Solent will be reflecting on the immorality of the FA Cup win, and how it has banished them to he nether world of football. I heard a snatch of a radio interview with 'Arry somewhere this morning, maintaining he is ready to return to management. Saggychops said; "I fink I could do a job for somebody, somewhere. I'd like to build a new team, see where I could take it." See where you could take it? How about to bankruptcy.

Sunday was the ideal opportunity to provide a direct comparison between John Stones and Jack Stephens. Considering City paid £47.5m for Stones, is he THAT much better than Stephens if, indeed, he is better? Discuss.

Other than exceptions like Fergie and Wenger, who built a dynasty at their respective clubs, most managers appear to have a shelf life of around three years. Yes, point to Sean Dyche and Eddie Howe, but most players - if they stay long enough at a club - have pretty much heard everything a manager has to say in terns of motivation and coaching in that time. Strachan was a classic example. He was great for the first two or three years but then the players stopped playing for him as they were fed up with him. Perhaps that is more of an indictment on players than it is on managers but most PL clubs turn their managers over every three years or so.

I did. I ghosted it.

They really are the gift that keeps on giving. Just as we think our plight is bad, up they come with something like this which shows what a pony, sleazy club they are.

So why did Mope bring Gabbiadini on for Davis? As soon as it happened I thought it was a positive move ftom a manager who wanted to win the game. And I hope the tv pundits saying Bournemouth should have had a penalty will replay the two occasions when King manhandled Hoedt at set pieces. When will ref's start penalising that?
-
Not to mention the two occasions at corners where Josh King man-handled Hoedt and dragged him to the ground. Some referees -Mike Reilly for example - regularly sporscand gives those.

I went to have my leg x-rayed today and the doctor said: "Your patella measures exactly 2.54cm." "Wow," I said: "Inch-high knees." "Ok," he said: "您的髌骨是 2.54 厘米高."

The easy way to solve our goalscoring problem is to pay £90m for Lukaku or a striker of his ilk. As was said about him in match commentary, United brought him in to turn last season's draws into wins. He's doing exactly that, but strikers like that our out of our price range.

The sums of money being thrown at Pelle made it impossible to sell him. I seem to recall that on here at the time, the over-riding feeling was that if he had a chance to make that much money, then good luck to him.
-
Apparently there's always a free one to Blackpool available to him.
-
That wasn't Paul Bennett, I'm afraid. That was said by Richard Dryden, of himself to his team-mates when he came on as a substitute in one game.
-
You are correct, Mark Wright was different gravy. Can you remind us what happened to him? Which club did he leave Saints for?
-
Named after the Dolomite ski resort, Cortina d'Ampezzo. Perhaps he should leave out the car resort, and stress that. "Les Read went to Italy, Ski-ing in Cortina.." But why would he be shopping for midfield players when he could be spending all day pounding the slopes? I'm confused.
-
Because Wanyama sweetly struck 65-yard passes with pinpoint accuracy. You don't see Kante play too many passes over 20 yards. The job of players of this ilk is to win the ball, and having won it, retain possession with a simple pass to somebody wearing the same shirt as him.
-
But he's quite happy to play for a club that is well run by honourable and responsible owners. You know, the ones who stated publicly on the record that they accepted being caught with their trousers around their ankles and were consequently ending heir interest in him. Or alternatively, he is happy to play for a club run by Middle Eastern despots, or by that Mr Abramovic, who is completely above reproach. He's about as interested in the ownership of a club he plays for as most people are about where their shirts are made or where the coffee in their cup comes from. He is no different from any other footballer who judges a club's owner simply on his ability to deposit a six-figure sum in his bank account at the end of ever week.

Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day

March is widely recognised as Real Madrid's mouthpiece. Even worse than the Liverpool Echo. -
If Liverpool - or anybody for that matter - slap in a £100m bid, we would be mad NOT to accept it.

He was undergoing his audition for a Nivea advert.
