Totally agree. Apart from being one of cheapest forms of entertainment available the BBC is one of the most respected media agencies in the world. Speak to anyone virtually anywhere in the world and they will have heard of the BBC. Do we really need more advert financed channels packed full of dumb-down American trash. I suspect there is hardly a person in the UK that doesn't use the BBC in some form be it TV, National Radio, Local radio, internet, drama, the arts, comedy, wildlife programmes and documentaries. Much of which are sold all over the world. ALL for less than £0.40p a day. No-Brainer - Keep the BBC Licencing

Pubs for today? Rumours are pubs in Islington and going to be locals only and need to show ticket to get in. Every season this seems to get worse around there. Used to be able to get in Wetherspoons easily as they would allow home and away. But last couple season only managed to sneak in with gooner mates. Probably going to meet at O'Neills on the Euston Road opposite St Pancras.
