I guess I'm on IGNORE then

Well there's two of us, I work in Ukraine also, near Poltava (Sokolva Balka) four weeks on and four weeks off. I came in through Kharkiv from Vienna last Tuesday. Getting a bit nippy here already! I spent a night in Kharkiv last year when Austrian Airlines cancelled my flight - had a great time. Excellent hospitality. I'll be travelling back to Kharkiv (airport) at the end of this month. My other team is Vorskla Poltava (and Gillingham)

They don't have to pay tax there...

Illingsworth will be implying that he's a 'fair weather supporter' next.
-
Is that the same as incontinent?

The 'When the saints Go Marching In' ****e played before the MK Dons game was as patronising as the clown who comes on the pitch before the game with his banal and simplistic babble. Pay 25 quid for a ticket and be spoken to like a bunch of kindergarten nippers. Let's have something a bit less insulting to our collective intelligence.

Most of their supporters are scum so they deserve everything they get

Looked quality to me, wherever he's from.

After his performance in goal against Saints today for Luton, please sign Kevin Pilkington. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.. Davis wants to end up back at Kenilworth Road anyway. Just swap the two.

Haven't you learned yet that in football every game is different? Give the man a chance.
-
I saw Steve Wigley in there a while back, buying booze. Maybe that's where they all go to drown their sorrows.

Simeon Jackson at Gillingham has already scored three, yesterday against Swinedon. If they manage to get Chris Dickson away from Charlton, the Gills will have a lethal strike force. Saga worked hard yesterday, but seems to have lost the touch, for now anyway.

The nation responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq on the whim of one man, backed up by a poodle from this country. If you want to drone on about the 'land of the free' or the 'leader of the free world' don't mention 'weapons of mass destruction' or 'support for terrorism in Iraq' in the same breath. Plastic yanks are always up their own ass, sorry, arse.

Chris Dickson would be a great signing. Scored goals for fun on loan at Gillingham last season. They tried get him in permanently but Charlton wanted more cash than the Gills could find. Definitely worth a chance.

Saints Fans in Amesbury / Bulford and Durrington
CalshotSpit replied to Amesbury Saint's topic in The Saints
I lived at 75 Countess Road for nine years and enjoyed being in Amesbury. Now in Locks Heath, but I still visit the Malet Arms at Newton Tony and always stop in Amesbury for a while on the way back. -
One of the stipulations from Barclays concerning the overdraft, in fact one of the main stipulations was that match attendance levels should be maintained and increased. Anyone with an ounce of business sense would have looked at Nigel Pearson, his transformation of the team and ultimate rescue of our championship status and recognise that there stood our most valuable asset as one of the best young managers in the game. As many have already said, look at Leicester City, already promoted. But of course, not Lowe. In an act of total arrogance, he brings in two total incompetents with no experience of English football, and then wonders why crowds are down to just over 14,000 by December. Only the most cynical among us would claim that we would have been in the same position with those crowd levels had Pearson remained in charge. Pearson is a manager who commands respect and will go far in the game, while we were served up the cheapest option in the the form of Portvliet and Wotte. This is one of the main reasons for the demise of this club, Lowe trying to do things on the cheap. Gray, Wigley, Sturrock and the now the Dutch pair. Harry Redknapp was the exception, but was allowed to spend 90,000 on Ricardo Fuller. Clive Woodward's salary didn't apperar to be a problem however, and what did he contribute? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So anyone who imagines that spite was involved at the bitter end may not be barking up the wrong tree. Anyone with such breathaking arrogance as Lowe (witness the round of TV interviews after the event blaming everyone but himself) will turn on his most hated adversaries, in this case the supporters who have poured millions into the club since he appeared in 1996 ( and have been mostly treated with a patronising 'I know best' attitude and more recently open contempt) before he sinks without trace. It's a great club, Southampton FC, and it and the supporters deserve much more than they have had thrown at them over the last two or three seasons. Mike Osman has witnessed the decline just like the rest of us - for the likes of you to call him a liar without knowing the facts is libellous. I hope he reads your spiteful comments. Strangely enough, you state that Barclays are the ONLY reason we are in adminstration. You sound just like the great man himself. No connection?

Is Leon Crouch racist? The Daily Echo "suggests" he is.
CalshotSpit replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
A man that brought Nigel Pearson to the club is not an idiot. Leicester are now nine points clear at the top of league one under him. One of the reasons we are where we are in the league is because Lowe brought in a fall guy who had no experience of English football at all, a Dutchman. If it had been Jol, it may have been different, so it's not a case of nationality, just experience - and most of those experienced and available are English. Dowie, Boothroyd, Holloway to name three. You are the idiot, with your pathetic politically correct brainwash, get a life. -

Rupert....it's time for bed

You could be right - the music played as the players came out on to the pitch at the beginning of the first half was ' Don't Bring Me Down'
-
During the Birmingham league match he was arguing with Poortvliet from the pitch, and did not appear to want to do as he was told. Obviously he has got the hump because of all the changes but to be honest at times he looks lazier than Raziak. He should do well to remember that he was almost on the scrap heap before he came to Saints and had his playing career partially rejuvenated. Another prima donna. If he doesn't like it, he knows where the door is.
