This time in English. ....Yet someone else says that the poster of this information is a WUM. So who is telling the truth and who believes they are an undercover ninja for the CIA?

....and some else says that the poster on this information is WUM. So how is telling the truth and who believes they are undercover ninja for the CIA?

No for most posters it's just easier. Looking at the very short clips the game still seemed to be played at a 'friendly' pace. I'm not sure there is too much to be learned by this game.

It wasn't from the halfway line it was from a line marked at each end about 35 yards out from each goal-line and I think the player had 23 seconds or something from the blow of the whistle. Either way it involved some degree of skill and ball control and some degree of goalkeeping skill, other than guessing the right way to dive, but I believe it was FIFA that stopped it in the NASL because they were the only league doing it and it wasn't approved and they needed to come in line with rest of FIFA leagues - or something like that. I might have made that up though. It seems to be the best way as far as I can see - along with silver and golden goals - but that would be too easy. It's not as if teams play defensively as it is but one **** up in extra time and you are out.....

Didn't the old North American league have line painted about thirty yards out from the goal-line at each end and if the match was a draw the ball was placed on it, the goalie stood on his line and when the referee blew his whistle a player had about 23 seconds or summat to get the ball into the goal - the equivalent of a breakaway and similar to an ice-hockey penalty-shot. Best of three, then sudden-death, at least there is some proper football skill involved in getting the ball into the net or stopping someone scoring.... I think FIFA stopped the American's doing this in the end too - they don't want change just the old boys club and stagnation - mind you many supporters are stuck in the past and 'tradition'.

Wrong. You can find direct quotes from the Bayern president on Google: 69,000 capacity, and this is Bayern Club President Uli Hoeness on the clubs season tickets. One third of them - 12,500 - are sold for £104. This is apparently made possible by selling 2,100 corporate seats for £7,000. "We could charge more than £104. Lets say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income, but whats £2m to us ? In a tranfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan. We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk. Football has got to be for everybody. Thats the biggest difference between us and England".

Don't forget when we are on Sky next year it will usually be against top four sides so expect to see us getting a proper whopping from time to time and remembering what it was like if we lost 2-1 or drew 0-0 on here with some posters goodness knows what'll be like if we lose by our favourite top league hammering of 5-1! One infamous poster on here is already saying if we don't have a compliment of 'replacement' signings in place by the end of June or summat then we'll have already started off the season badly - goodness knows what he'll think if we lose 4-0 at Man City or 6-0 at Fulham or something....I'm not saying that'll happen but we have to remember what league we are in and City beat Norwich 6-1 at Carrow Road this season for instance. I am hoping I don't see any of those type of games on TV this season....

Saints v Anderlecht Eoropean Cup winners cup 1976
David Strover replied to CLOTH EARS's topic in The Saints
Memory plays tricks. We went out after the home leg 2-1 and 3-2 on aggregate - Anderlecht won the Cup Winners Cup that season too. Avril Compton went to that game with us - oh to be young again.... -
Yup you're right, that's why he got the England gig. Bobby Robson won the UEFA Cup with Town - I think, no Googling here, it was Dutch club AZ67 who they beat 3-0 at home and then losing the away leg 4-2 but that is all from memory!
-
Ipswich Town also did it in 1962 I think under the stewardship of Bobby Robson. Different ballgame in those days though both on and off the pitch. The Premiership is all about maintaining the status quo and keeping a steady stream of dreaming cannon-fodder to feed those clubs to warm up for when they play each other. And guess what we are?
-
I have added links for both on my Facebook page. If one person has their awareness raised and one person buys a tee-shirt then that's one more than would have to my mind. I also have created and run several websites so I will be adding these links on them too. It's not much but every little tiny bit helps.

Hang on - Leicester had nothing to play for so they rolled over, Hull have got nothing to play for so they will roll over but Coventry who are relegated and quite a few of their players will be leaving have lots to play for and beat us....why is that? Why won't they role over and ship three or four goals to one of the best attacks in the league? Stop being West Ham supporters and start being Saints fans....

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .
David Strover replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
If West Ham United fail in their promotion bid do not be surprised to see Di Canio in the hotseat next season. Random post of the day. -
Believe me you make no money having Spreadshirt e-shop unless you charge about £25 for a tee-shirt - which of course go like hot cakes.
-
This will be deleted by the Spreadshirt administrators by tomorrow afternoon (probably) and would not arrive at your address for at least five days or so because it comes from Germany - nevertheless I thought I'd see if I could knock one up in about ten minutes or so. http://hayface.spreadshirt.co.uk/

It's all gone quiet from the "we only need eighty points" brigade....
David Strover replied to CB Fry's topic in The Saints
Having read some of the comments on here and other threads I really genuinely believe there are several posters on here that will be very happy if Saints fail. I see no difference between the deliriously optimistic (I don't like the expression happy-clappy) and those that absolutely love to rub our faces in poor results and performances and the possibilities of failure - like no one on this Forum is aware of any of it and need it explained all the friggin' time continuously. We are not all 'idiot children'. When I'm sat next to a ticking bomb I am well aware of what may happen. -
Palace are 3-0 down and it's not even half-time....guess who they've got to play next to get a nice confidence booster. This really is looking the 'old days'. Still at least I'm still not really, really angry about the Walsall result!
-
I have lost all faith now with the last two results. All faith...
-
We've ballsed it up haven't we? Just the right time to start not winning games and letting in last minute equalisers. Watch the 2-0 defeat at Palace send this club into a meltdown. Good old Saints....

I thought someone would eventually bring this up. No subs in those days so once he got injured Wayman had to play on and even scored the winner but probably exacerbated his injury in doing so. Should Lambert get injured Saturday he would be straight off, rested and treated - and of course there are several replacements who could score. We have won games without Adam and Ricky. It's a completely different game these days. If we don't go up it will be because we lost two games to Bristol City and nothing else - FACT - so says someone I forget who.

**** me if we keep this form up the all conquering West Ham and Reading will sweep past us quite easily...... Wrong again.
-
Oh dear - I'll stop posting methinks! 2-0 Reading.
