  1. There have been several loans to several clubs that certainly aren't emergencies. Anyhoo if we did get someone in you'll never had heard of him and he will be a reserve or permenant sub at his parent club. Warning - do not get excited.
  2. Yes and we can't beat Walsall, Hartlepool or Tranmere away from home - nor at times Brentford, Notts County or Rochdale at home - plus the pressure will be on. Oh dear.
  3. Fair enough - I can't afford it anymore (or for many years) but you're not going to get an argument out of me. You are entitled to your beliefs and opinions.
  4. I hate it when we lose - especially to teams in the relegation zone. I always have and always win. It does not make me happy. I'm still ****ed off and angry now - goodness knows what people who went to the game must feel like.
  5. They will win 2-0.
  6. Thank you for posting exactly how I feel. You can be called negative now instead of me - and at least you went to game. Exactly. How. I. Feel. With brass knobs on.
  7. Because it is my right to do so - as it is yours to ignore it. Forty-one years I've been supporting and following this club - and we've had about five or six 'good' seasons but the promise by the club of so much more. The game on Tuesday just about has done it for me - everything you read on here, everything you see on the OS and anywhere else related to Southampton FC has been said so many times before that it might as well be one giant season. Don't you ever just get fed up of hearing the same stuff ? Apart from reading my negative drivel that is?
  8. **** me we're making a hash of getting out this league never mind the next one.
  9. I didn't go and I've had hours to calm down. I don't agree with above statement - Hartlepool United, Notts County, Tranmere Rovers, Walsall, these are all bread and butter games to gain points so that if you drop points to the top sides in tough games you give yourself a chance. If we can't beat these we'll never win at Bournemouth or Brighton. I've fallen out of love with this poxy club and I'm sick of 'if we play like this every week we'll win more than we'll lose' and 'we brush ourselves down and get ready for the next game' and 'the training has being going well everything is great in the camp'. I'm sick of people taking the **** out of me at work every other week. When's our ****ing turn then? When's our turn? Blah, blah ****ing blah. Put up or shut up put some ****ing points on the board. Do you think the Championship is going to be easier? ****s every one of them.
  10. I'd be quite pleased if we managed another away win this season - and if we don't we may even kiss the play-offs good-bye. We'll bottle any play-off games anyway so it matters not. I'm not even gonna bother looking for the 2-0 defeat against Colchester United until I accidentally see it on Saturday (trawling teletext about 11 o'clock at night) Quite frankly I'm starting to get well and truly sick and fed-up to the back teeth of this club....
  11. As is often said 'points on the board' are better than 'games in hand'. I think tonight proved that. We are bit crap and don't deserve automatic promotion. As it ever was....
  12. The fact is people on here, for some unknown, actually seem to hate Davis and will find any reason and excuse to drop him. When he's gone and nothing changes - which it won't they will either blame the next goalie or another player. For me he's a Southampton player and therefore gets my full support until he ceases to play for us. It's that simply.
  13. I too am an ex-keeper. I was **** though and have no clue what I am talking about....ever. About anything. Mind you I did see Bart in his last too appearance fluff simple crosses - one he completely missed and was cleared off the the line t'other he missed and it hit the inside of the post. Then people came on here and said they were hit with speed and venom. They weren't. It seems that whatever camp the poster is in he puts on the goalie blinds. If you speak to other team's supporters they always seem to say 'You're keeper is 'king great. Dodgy kicking but 'king great. I wish we had him'. Versions of this have been said to me by Swindon, Leeds, Huddersfield and Charlton fans. I would imagine some posters will say 'Well you haven't seen him play every week' and most fans on here haven't seen other teams goalies play every week either. Watch the entire Football League Highlights. Everytime you'll see goals that result from goalies sticking to their line, misjudging shots or bounces, miscommunications with defenders, flapping hands and fumbles and you'll see great goals too. There is no goalie that dominates his penalty box anymore - none. I watched Swindon Town versus Peterborough recently - ummm I think I'll stick to Kelvin thanks, and we haven't scored past that friggin' team yet!
  14. I have never been more pleased to be completely and utterly wrong!
  15. I don't reckon anyone is coming in. If we play like today nearly every game we shouldn't need anyone.
  16. Difficult to see how we failed to score in the last two games though....
  17. I think Ipswich deal fall-through rumour has come from Football Transfer Rumours bull****e site on which someone has posted that Norwich has matched the offer and he is now going to be in talks with them tomorrow......what a pile of crap.
  18. **** me - he's back at SMS for a medical - but he's failed it because he's really knackered and worn out from driving back and forth between Swindon and taking hundreds of medicals. Typical Saints ruin everything.
  19. Oh no, don't tell me this thread is dying.....what with Charlie Austin going to Ipswich Town and all.
  20. ...the expenses aren't too bad because apparently he's been car-sharing with Martin O'Neil who is travelling back and forth trying to unload his house he bought in Winchester a while back.
  21. Darn you jumped in before me and ruined my hilarious jape....
  22. Oh the plus front he has made really good friends with Lee Holmes and David Connelly which should help him settle in at the club...
  23. No everyone forgets what league division we are in...
  24. Apparently he's gone up to SMS for a medical. Another one. Problem is he now has leg injuries from 78 consecutive reflex tests and radiation sickness from the same amount of x-rays.
  25. Which means the poor blokes got to jump in car and get down to SMS to have his seventh medical, be shown around Staplewood and then have another medical before signing on for the new owners at midnight. He'll probably get a police escort all the way down to Southampton. I'm going out to the 419 he might pass by.........
