The majority will not have wanted Adkins sacked. But what's happened has happened, yet the the ott reactions calling for Cortese to leave, how will that benefit the club and its long term ambitions? There's been a lot of objective decent posts, but same have been ridiculous in the grand scheme!

Forget poor records, Adkins actually got relegated with scunny, so does this make him an unexciting prospect? History has taught us otherwise, a good manager and a top bloke. But MONEY was available here, not at scunny or Espanyol. On that basis, why are we prejudging our new manager?

And what exactly is going on at our club? Last I checked, we've gone from league one to prem and competing with likes of Milan and Liverpool for multi million pound signings... We HAVE money, not crooks trying to fleece the club. So tell me where's the parallels to scummy?

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, on the whole, our club is in a fantastic place. Cortese had a lot to do with that! MY opinion.
