Alpine, how do you determine whether a transfer window has been a success? Surely there is an intrinsic link between how the team ultimately fare and the squad put in place to achieve that relative position? With that in mind then, what would you have considered a success and acceptable finish for this season at the outset? Having considered all objectively if we ultimately finish around the top 10, the only reasonable grounds you would consider the transfer window a "cluster feck" is if you would have expected us after 2 consecutive promotions from league 1 to finish as European contenders??? Tell me I'm wrong Alpine? ...otherwise shut up and take a seat back down on to your stupid chair please.

Ps, aside to nearly conceding another penalty, Fox refreshingly didn't have another error probe game. Looked steady and did his job. Credit where it's due.

Hard fought win. Lost some shape with lambert going off, no one to hold the ball up or play off. Team looked very tired for last 15 or so. Lallana doesn't look full fit. Cork played very well and toss up between him and YOSHIDA for mom who I thought was brilliant. Lots of important tackles and interceptions. Morgan not at his best and great save from Boruc who is now showing how many points can be added on to the end of the season with a decent keeper. Overall, played well in spells but Swansea are also a decent team. Futures bright, the race for top 10 is still on!

Disagree. Tackled hard and well, scored a goal, granted was wasteful with deliveries but will grow as a player and benefit from a full pre season. Will be a star next season, like to think.

Strong physical side that lot. More than held our own. Clash of styles but will take a point. One of those days, could easily have gone either way, although the 3 points wouldn't have been undeserved. Onwards and upwards.
