I always fint two balls are better than one

If it was a case of lobbin a bit of man glue over ones thumb, I would rather stick a bunch of £50 notes together than a glossy saints programme.

Having read and studied phsychology, I can exclusivley reveal what he means exactly; "There's some good players here and some very good young players here too so we will be looking closely at them to see if they can produce some quality for us." Means; "There are no fist team players worth touching with a dirty stick, so I'm going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrel with some of the youth for the first few games" -------------------------------- "I saw areas where we can improve that needed to happen but the biggest thing for me at the weekend, was the fans, the stadium and the atmosphere, that's essentially what we need to keep, that momentum from the takeover right through to the start of the season and into the winter." Means; "We have a crap squad" --------------------------------- "Even the most ardent fan will realise that we had a poor season and now we're in a new division with minus ten points and we've got a lot to do. How long that will take I don't know but I will be trying to make things stronger and more disciplined." Means; "League two here we come" --------------------------------- "There'll be some movement," Means; "We need to spend, spend, spend." --------------------------------- "I'm certainly not going to keep players that are not going to be motivated to be in this division, no matter what his ability is I want the hunger and desire to win. I'll bring players who want that fight because we have been lacking that passion and fight on the pitch." Means; "Saga or Rasiak can go and get fooked"

Mine would be , both of them

Am I the only one who wants to look at this picture from another angle?

Got it from a contact in the sewage company , also confirmed by a wrapper at the andrex factory.

What a pointless thread. I bet he was on the sh1t house yesterday, do we need to know that?

Everone's missing one key element - it aint our choice. We have a new owner, with a nice fat wallet who from all accounts has been in for us since the start. He will no doubt have football advisers who are telling him who the right man to do the job is. Yes, the right man to do a job not who we as fans currently have boners about. Of course he will have us in mind when choosing, but it will be a 5 - 10% effect on his choice. Hoddle did a job for us and a good one, so I wouldn't discount him from the mix - wether we like it or not. My choice? WGS or GH not Keegan. But we have to know our place in the great scheme of things, were now 1st division ad the chances of either of those three coming down are slim to none.

"were all dressed in white suits, and looked classy as f*ck" Those two statements contradict themselves somewhat! Did they have open collar shirts, medallions and arrived with nightfever playing on the stereo
-
Erm....... No. They are BOTH southamton football club. Without the players no club, without the supporters no club.
-
Yep, because any business man who throws 1/2 a mill just to look at the books would make any excuse to get out of the deal wouldn't they? Numpty! Fact - The first thing anyone, yes anyone would do when wanting to buy this club is to get the -10 removed, why? 1. Less to spend to get out of the league 2. An easier exercie to get back in the championship 3. Quicker r4eovery into the prem and money Use your loaf man.
-
That would be a first!!
-
And he flogs crisps to boot.
-
My mate sell's crack Cocaine down the road from where I live. He said to me the other day and I quote; "I don't give a flyin fook who's buying the club, just pay for your smack or fook off" Remember, you heard it here first.
-
"Fookers wouldn't even let me keep the SSFC Corporate tie!"
-
"You aint seen the last of me you caant's"
-
To be honest, there are positives and negatives for buying. Plus: You probably will never get a Championship club so cheap again Down: No Fooker has any money because the economy is shot I have a horrible feeling there will be no takers - and then no club.
-
What mad man would buy a club in this current financial climate! So yes, clutching at straws. All I see is administration and a -10 point start to next season in the first division, oh how we have fallen

Your guessing, so am I. Using the world wide rule of sales - a widely used %5 figure, which to me is worst case scenario, that's still £3000+ And regarding 150 people - I've read posts from more than 150 who say they are going to take it up. I guess we shall see. Will we get a rebate? -

Good value? 6700 members, %15 take up on this £5 fee - £5025+ per annum. 6700 members, %50 take up? Very possible I think you will agree. - £16500+ per annum. Do we get shares in the club? -

You can argue that point until your blue in the face, they all offer a free service. As a web development company owner I sub host a good many websites so know all hosting and bandwidth costs, my company website is in profile. The web should be (a view much confirmed by many leading lights in the technology field) a place to share information and join together communities for free. Don't want to fall out Steve. Like I said, up until now you all did a sterling job. Just gone to far this time - and, as this is my 3rd and final post for the day, I'll say goodbye. -

Sad sign of the times ------------------------ Well, I don't know about you but £5 for a fans forum has just pushed it to far for me. Sorry, not having a go or a dig at the admins as they have up until now done a sterling job and I will still pop on here and read what's new, but thats it. Fuel, food, gas, electric - the list goes on and now to pay to subscribe on here is the last straw. It's not the amount, the amount is neither here nor there, it's the insult of having to pay to talk on line. Facebook, Bebo, Friends Reunited, MySpace all large outfits yes, but all free, gratis. I appreciate all the admins do, but with the way the site has gone in terms of abuse, arguments, crap repetitive, posts - paying for the this honour is too much. Feeding my family and running my car to work come above a fans forum, sorry. It's been good, but all good things come to an end.
