I so hope this friend of yours knows what he/she is talking about. These last few months have been too much without any more wind-up merchants!

I think the main ones who came in for stick were those that resorted to mindless, childish abuse and racism!! No one minds a differing opinion...debate is healthy...in its right form.

Completely understand every sentiment and feeling you have. The last 3 weeks have left me seriously wondering if we deserve a football club to support. I still have hope the club will survive one way or another, just think it will be someone picking us up on the cheap who will not be spending any serious money on us but will see us as something to make a profit out of once the economy jumps back into life and we are more attractive to buy!!! In the meantime i think we might all have to be prepared for nothing very grand at all and be grateful.

Not sure what to say about the news on South Today just now ....but if i were a betting man it looks like Pinnacle could well be a dead duck! I've been for giving them every chance but i now am really losing hope they will save us. South Today reports they have tried contacted Pinnacle all day and received no reply...apparently first time Pinnacle have refused to answer!!! Fry now in serious talks with 2 other parties

Really sorry me and Jordan didnt turn up. We were involved in a serious road accident on our way to Flemming park. Only just got home from A& E. Thankfully we all walked away from the accident despite the car rolling 3 times down a steep embankment!! Deep joy!!

Ridiculous is it?? Have you been reading some of the trash on here tonight and over the last few days?? Do you think we have a united fan base...do you??? All we do is constantly try to abuse fellow posters or those trying to save the club.....and you think we deserve a club to support when some of its fan base act like mindless thugs that had their dummies taken away from them!!

The one thing this whole takeover bid has proved is we will never ever have a united fan base and we don't deserve SFC to live on. The longer this goes on the more and more i wish SFC were just wound up and that was the end to it :mad:

I dont for one minute think that some fans are not worried that Pinnacle might be another MW type and i'm sure those same fans are not blindly accepting Pinnacle are our saviour. The truth of the matter is that none of us on here knows...AND AS SUCH SHOULD NOT RESORT TO CHILDISH SCHOOL BEHAVIOUR OF NAME CALLING unless of course you belong in a playground???

At last someone with an ounce of common sense on here! Totally agree, the people having a pop at Pinnacle have not got a bloody clue....and thats because they refuse to open their eyes and acknowledge the FL are complete incompetents who are asking us to do something illegal just to cover their own slimey backs. There will either be a compromise between Pinnacle and the FL or we go out of business because every other potential buyer will find themselves in the same boat as Pinnacle!

I honestly think we don't deserve a football club to support or the likes of Pinnacle that are trying their best to rescue us. We have got to have the worst set of moaning and complaining fans i have ever come across. I wouldn't blame TL and Pinnacle for turning round and saying "sorry but we have decided to not go ahead". If tthe bloke does take time out to read the rubbish on hear he must be very disillusioned with some of the fan base!!!!

For once we have someone (TL) being as open an honest as he can and keeping the fans updated about what is happening to the best of his ability (a lot he cannot disclose because of confidentiality issues)....and yet still we have fans turning on the bloke because they cannot be patient and mature enough to be patient and accept they are taking there time for a bloody good reason. If MLT is happy to be as involved as he is then that is good enough for me. He obviously has complete faith in the money man (and he knows who that is, and he has complete faith in Pinnacle) Come on guys, i'm as anxious for all this to settled as anyone else but i'm prepared to be patient and courteous to the people trying to save our club....rather than try to turn everything into a conspiracy theory!!!!

no they should not! They are showing some balls and trying to get the best possible deal for SFC. Why oh why are some people so obsessed with Pinnacle just rolling over and doing exactly what the FL say. I would rather go down fighting than roll over and be the sort of club that says "thank you sir and by the way please feel free to whack me again whenever you feel like it"

I think those with all the clever suggestions about what Pinnacle should do should just let these guys get on with what they have been doing and stop being so melodramatic. Do some of you not honestly think they have not considered every angle and every consequence of each move with the FL???? Of course they have. They obviously believe they have issues they can deal with that in the long term will benefit the club they are purchasing and those benefits will be passed on to the fans if they stand their corner. Let these guys do what they have to and have faith that they are having good advice from their solicitors and those around them. I trust MLT and his body language tells me this takeover will happen. Keep the faith. COYR!!!!

Just seen Matts interview on Sky and he states that a couple of legal matters have only been made aware to them in the last 48 hours???? What the hell are the people trying to sell our club playing at?? Does not seem a very professional way to go about business by not telling your prospective buyer all the info and then tell them something really important just before they are about to complete. Everyone that has any involvement in our club seems to have goneto ammatuer school!

Ok i'm assuming thats tongue in cheek and no one is any the wiser? The reason i mentioned the New Zealand (sorry not Canadian) connection is that i know for a fact that the guy who was connected with Saints was in Southampton last week with 4 of his business associates. His luxury 150ft yacht came into Southampton. He stated he was here to pick parts up for his helicopter??? Just seemed strange a Millionaire thats been linked with Saints should be in Southampton at the same time Pinnacle are trying to close the deal!!! Maybe something, maybe nothing. Someone will no doubt put me right and tell me i'm barking up the wrong tree.
