no disrespect to CB but im pretty sure he's not Maradona. I was just stating i think we need some height in midfield and regardless of what anyone says if we had to play two midfielder one 5ft 6 and one 5ft 7 in the center of the park we'd be vulnerable.

He's only 5ft 7. an inch taller the SG but i cannot see AP playing those two together in this league and especially after he called a need for strength and battlers.

i saw Wotton in the West Quay at Hollister on wednesday ...he seemed okay not facial disfigurement, as far as i could see anyway.

I have been a saints fans for as long as i can remember, Southampton FC born and raised. On Saturday i was feeling pretty down and out over them whole situation at the club ," deflated" is the word id use if i was Andy Gray...UNTIL i saw i child who must have been about 7 or 8 donate his complete penny collection to one of the bucket collectors. That for me earmarks the spirit of southampton...where did we go wrong? who's to blame? it doesn't matter anymore lets stop pointing fingers..we all know its been a shambles and horrible for every saints fan around but we have to move on.....our club is all that matters. I love it and always will!!

How about the new owners cut a deal with AVIRA allowing them to name the stadium "The Avira Stadium" for a shortened mortgage!!
