For me, that depends on A. How good he is and B. How much money we actually have. I don't think Cortese is the kind of guy who would ever break the budget for a player, so I think whatever we pay we will be able to afford. And I guess we will see whether it is worth it or not as the season pans out. If we have signed him of course...

I saw Japan Mexico at the Olympics. Wish I'd paid more attention to individual players now! Oh well, look forward to seeing him. -
Great coup getting Stephen Hawking! Recorded it and just starting to watch now.

I have experienced everything there is to be experienced Turkish. You should know this by now.

I have family who are in to this kind of thing, as in they are instructors or life trainers or whatever they call themselves. I really think that it is one of those things, rather like hypnosis which will work if you want it to work and it won't if you don't. Like JPTCount said, placebo effect.

Webby's team is certainly starting to look more like Premier League standard. Just get a CB and maybe a LB in and I think we are there.

I know it's quite a bit north of that, but if you are near on your way down, make sure you stop at Montepulciano. It's a little mountain walled town and has barely changed since it was built and it's fantastic. -
So, is it over yet?
-
So if it has been completed, when is it going to be announced?! I want this palava over.

There seems to be a split on the twitter. Some saying €9.8m up front plus €4.2 in add-ons. Others saying the €14m is all up front. About £11m. That's a lot of money for us.

I absolutely love pretty much all fruit. I can't really think of one I don't like. Vegetables however... we do not get on so well.

@Ianbranfoot: It will be nice for Gaston Ramirez to have another much liked South American to play with in Guly Do Prado #saintsfc

I know nothing about sports massage therapy courses, but there are definitely course types which should be avoided and course types which should be done. You should do some research into what routes successful people in that field did.

Reflective of the game for large periods. We aren't the kind of fans who will just make a racket non-stop. It got louder when something actually happened, but a lot of the game was stuck in midfield. -
Salzburg is really nice, but it's not got as much to do as other cities I've visited. It's nice to look at though. Vienna is definitely worth a visit too. Combine them, that's what we did. Munich 3 nights, Salzburg 1 night, Vienna 3 nights... though that was a few years ago now. Though obviously that was a family visit, so you should probably ignore me. Haven't been to any of the three cities in the title, but if I was going to choose one I'd pick Berlin.

You don't finish 15th in the best football league in the world if you are a 'crock of ****e'

Pretty much what I expected.

Yep. A guy in front of me was trying to get in through the wrong turnstile and was blocked!

Obviously it is very early days, so it would be silly of me to write us off now. Wigan are a very good side, they haven't been in the Premier League for the time they have been without being good. However, if we want to stay up we need to beating beating teams like Wigan at home and that's no disrespect to them. I think fans of both teams are aware we will be in the bottom half come May. On today's game, it probably wasn't as awful as some will make out. We have 4 or 5 solid chances and on a different day we could have come away with a couple of goals. But we didn't, and I think our main problem was down wings. There were too many balls lobbed into the box which didn't stand a chance. Guly isn't a winger, and Clyne was sort of having to play his role from defence. Players of note. I thought Lallana was good, and looked dangerous at times and skillful, but I felt like he had to do it all himself sometimes and I feel if we want to see the Lallana we are used to, he will need higher quality players around him. Lambert can't be faulted, he needs service and he got none. Rodriguez seems to be playing out of position and to be honest I'm not sure this 4-2-3-1 formation gave us enough width today and Wigan won the midfield battle by the end of the match and so the game. Clyne was by far our best player, and looked extremely useful and reliable. Guly was okay, had some great touches at times and I feel like a lot that people were shouting at him about wasn't really his fault. We need another centre back. Fonte is still a question mark at this level for me and he is very one footed and the 2nd goal was just disastrous. I think Jos is much more steady at the back and I feel he is the better of the two CB, but I do think we need at least one more CB if at the very least to make sure there is competition for places. Fox looked underpar at times, and had some awful distribution at times, but I'm not sure if he was injured or not tbh. On the whole though, not a disaster yet... it's game 2, but we have a lot of improving to do. I think a CB and an explosive winger could go a long way.
-
Pretty much sums it up. I thought we passed well in the first twenty, but we need some more creativity. An explosive winger.

He's probably just reading this thread laughing.
