Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
Saintandy666 replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Agreed. and if we hadn't have bought him, we may not have gone into admin this season :/ -

I agree with Nick Clegg, if a person is willing to die for this country, they should be allowed to live in this country. It's ridiculous that it is any other way. Am I correct in my understanding that the gurkhas could be stopped soon anyway? As the new communist government of nepal finds it insulting?

Link to youtube? And also, how do you know that the flare hadn't already been thrown before the start of the filming of the clip?

Wotton injury - the referee nearly had blood on his hands
Saintandy666 replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Yer, I was pretty concerned as well. It's not often you see the manager run on like Wotte did. The referee was pure ****e yesterday, I predicted within the first 10 minutes of the match that it would all boil over and it did. He had no authority and didn't stamp his foot down when he should have done to book one of the burnley players earlier on. Utterly useless, and it's only going to get worse as you go down the leagues... -
I know nothing else Soz babe x

As, St. Marys Stadium Company(think it is called that) is a different company from Southampton FC Ltd(again, think it is called that), if you buy the Southampton FC Ltd, then no, the stadium is not included I would assume.

What worries me is if only one has got as far as the solicitors, what if it falls through :/
-
No idea, sorry

Know someone who is involved with the club, and heard today that out of the 30ish or so actual takeover thingys, 4 or 5 were serious. That we know of course... BUT I also learnt that one has gone far enough that the person involved has got the solicitors involved to get all the fine points of the deal ready for completion. Have a nice day

Ahhhhh, yes, but I believe everything will come to an abrupt halt when the cheap energy goes unless we developemnt renewable resource. I meant for the immediate next cycle. I think we will recover as strong as before, but we will be more on par with asia. However, another train of thought of mine(the apocalyptic side), is that as resources become scarce, the first thing that will go will be democracy as governments reign in on survival, then the wars will start over the little resource with have, America and then the western world and then rest of the world afterwards will collapse and we will be forced to near extinction because of nuclear war before rising up again, at much more sustainable levels Bit of a tangent there but scary 50-100 years ahead guys, theres simply too many of us in this world.
-
Hey, I didn't say the country was in good shape, I just said we are in better shape as regard to public debt than other countries and I know we will recover. We will recover, and be as strong as before, until another 10-20 years and the next recession comes along. Half of this crisis is caused by mass panic and it didn't have to be as bad as this, but I guess we are in the first new media downturn. The government is doing what is necessary to prevent a much worse outcome and higher taxes or not, it's the only way for the countries ecconomy to survive, like it or loathe it. Also, I am not labour-loving, far from it, I can just see that the whole global recession is not Gordon Browns fault.
-
Not really... if that was so, no other country would be in a similar position but they are. This is a global recession, not much else can be done and our public debt is still much lower than most the G8 countries not that it makes it any better. The point is however, it isn't labours fault, it's testosterone filled bankers fault. On debt, Japan's is at 170%. Ours is 43%, though due to rise to 79% at its peak. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_public_debt - look at this(IMF sourced), right at the bottom of the G7 countries.

I believe it to be Southampton 1 Charlton 0 First win at St. Marys - 2001?
-
AFC Southampton has the potential to be quite fun, following them up through the little leagues all the way up. We'd probably settle as a conference team eventually but hey, would be exciting stuff.

Michael McIntyre has probably reached his peak around about now. If not, he will soon enough.

Ahhhhhh, but does she have speakers?

Meh, not every death can be known of. Not every person who contributes to society can be internationally recognised(though by the sounds of it, Freud is generally well known). It's a fact of life, there are too many of us and sometimes the ones that get picked out do so at the expense of more worthy candidates.
-
Never heard... or maybe I wasn't listening. Who knows? It shall remain a mystery to us all.
-
I have no idea what 'freudian' means but the morning/mourning thing was deliberate.
-
Damn... well, I have never seen the advert in question either. Have you considered trying to get out of the shed by force?
