Phantom Pt. 2 - Justice

Well, I think that... - League wanted Pinnacle to agree to no appeal against 10 point deduction. - Piannacle refused to do so, so no deal has happened and exclusivity has ended. - Because of this Mark Fry has opened the possibilty discussions with other consortiums. - And the football league are to hold an emergency meeting regarding us on monday. Anyone who knows otherwise, just correct me. I want to know why the league don't just let us appeal if they have such a great case against us? But I guess it's their competition so they can do whatever the hell they want. I would also say Pinaccle aren't out of it yet, especially as they have paid £500,000 to get exclusivity. They will not want that to go down the drain. Either way, the next move is with the Football League when they meet on monday.

Well, if this were to happen then this would surely mean federer would also swap sides so should be ok though I dunno who else is in his half. In my opinion, it is much more likely a qualifier will take Nadals place in the draw and everything will remain the same.
-
No But I was thinking surely that means this is ******** as he can't enter in negotiations with people yet.
-
The period of exclusivity doesn't end till midnight I thought. No-one can enter negotiations untill then surely?

Remember, we don't know the whole story and also remember that it is Frys job to get this club sold as quickly as possible to a viable buyer and I'm sure if there are other viable buyers out there willing to buy and sign the clause, he will do that. I personally think Pinnacle will still end up buying us, but remember that we don't know the whole story. Patience is the key.

It'll go right to the dealline I expect. I'm talking minutes here as well.

Apparently I am digging myself into some sort of grave. Because of this, I am not going to comment on any more posts regarding the issue of 'golden showers'. That is all.
-
I think it's impossible to have been through 12 years of state school education and not know what that means! I am too bored at the moment. I have spent the last 2 hours staring at a screen pressing F5.
-
Ahahaha, thankyou
-
I said share, not shower. I am quite aware of what a Golden Shower is! Now, is there anyone out there who is actually helpful?
-
What zeeee fook is a golden share?

I actually just ****ed myself laughing. -
I don't understand the bashing of the BBC, it is great value for £142.50 each year(that's 39p a day). Think about what you get for that and if you take some of the funding away then you will all regret it when standards decline. Of course, all the crappy we don't like the licence fee rubbish is fuelled by Mr. 'I want to take over the the world' Murdoch and co who want **** commercial TV(another plus of the BBC) to be the norm. People who want rid of the BBC, who want to stop the licence fee, be careful what you wish for. It might just come true.

No-one elected Tony Blair, they elected their local MP, who represented his party and then when they had a majority the Labour Party could form a government under his leadership. People elect an MP and a party, not a leader. The Queen is our head of state. If you want to elect a leader, we need a presidential system like America.
-
Ahhhhh right, well I think it's a 250 tournament this year, so I would guess that's plus 140?
-
I thought it was a 250 tournament this year, though not to sure about that. They shook up the whole points system this year. 250 series. 500 series. 1000 series(masters) and 2000 points for Grand Slam. And also, I don't know if you did remember this or not, he is defending it against the points he had last year in this tournament, so he got quarters last year so that would be a gain in the points difference from quarters to the final I believe.

Semi-big? Miami is the generally considered the next biggest after the traditional 4 slams. He got to the final of the US open beating Nadal on the way. He's won 5 titles this year already(if you include the exibition Abu Dhabi event). Let's have a look at his final opposition he beat to win these titles. Nadal, Roddick, Nadal, Djorkovic and Blake. Hardly easy opponents. Also, tennis isn't organised where players can simply slip out and go to the 'easy tournaments'. Theres only a couple of ATP tournaments each week MAX(and the top players are usually all at one) and the masters series are effectively mandatory. Oh and by the way, Murray has been in the finals of 2 out of 5 of the Masters Series events this year alone. I simply don't understand where these 'small' tournaments that you claim Murray plays in come from. Also, considering you can only get the serious Ranking points by doing well on the ATP 250/500/1000/Slams tournaments and you need serious points to be ranked 3rd. How the hell would he be so high by playing small tournaments which would undoubtebly offer less points and so not enough to be ranked so high.
-
Yer, coz Miami is a small tournament... He plays at the tournaments everyone else does and consistantly beats Nadal, Federer and Djorkovic on the hard courts.
-
I think Murray could do it this year, but it's highly unlikely. His game on grass isn't as good as his game on the hard courts just yet. I can see him winning a couple of Slams within the next few years, US open for sure, Wimbledon maybe. Problem is he hasn't really been tested on grass against the rest of the big players like Djorkovic(who lost in Halle today btw) Federer and Nadal(who might not even be there this year). I think he can beat Nadal and Djorkovic on grass, but Federer... perhaps not :/

Apart from SWF which website do you visit most fequently?

Yer, you should pull a few strings... he can't say no to family Yer, I said that I support saints and she said oh my uncle played for them and I said oh what was his name expecting some guy I had never heard of and when she said Terry Paine I was a bit but like I said she didn't really understand just how good he was! She also said she doesn't see him that often now because he lives in South Africa or something like that.
