Would you change positons with Sunderland?
Saintandy666 replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html 10th in the form league - not too bad really... -
It's difficult for a club like Southampton to have 3 top and by top I mean of Lovren quality centre backs. Players of that quality are not going to come to a club like southampton to benchwarm, they will just go to a different club that would also want them where they can start.

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

I really do not understand your point. Where do I say that there is a set reference point for temperature on earth? Of course there isn't. Earth's temperature is influenced by many things, and one of those things is the greenhouse effect which as I said in my last post has an extremely large impact raising the temperature of our surface already by 33 degrees. Adding further greenhouse gas into the atmosphere will lead to a tendency for increase in the temperature on earth. Such increase will be disruptive to present life on earth as the fast change in circumstance will be too quick for a lot of organisms to keep up with. It is within our interests not to let this happen for a whole host of reasons you can look up yourself (species are already going extinct at an alarmingly high rate although that has a lot to do with many other human caused factors as well). -

No-one should be shocked that more things influence our temperature than the greenhouse affect which already raises Earth's temperature by 33 degrees centigrade. The greenhouse effect is an extremely significant influence on our temperature and not one we should ignore. -
I don't think any of us have any idea to be honest. I imagine that sometime during the week it is not unusual whatsoever for Pochettino to be at St. Mary's!

I think we can read too much into this, I mean yes, there could be some sort of meeting, but also people who have jobs do tend to turn up to work at some point!

Definitely Maybe is 20 - favourite song on it?

Nice try Turks! You know what I meant, although I wouldn't be surprised if I did hear it when I was 1 as my dad liked Oasis, not that I would remember that though! -

Weird to think I was 1 when this came out, yet I still listen to this album! And my favourite song is either Cigarettes and Alcohol or Married with Children. Can't quite decide. -
Is Lambert the only Saints legend since Le Tiss

If Adam Lallana was to stay with us for his entire career(which could happen - he has shown us a certain amount of loyalty thus far and our trajectory is up also). -
Indeed, I expect the highlight of his career getting to play at Wembley which is why the paint pot trophy is good - it gives 'smaller' players a chance for that day. And fair play to him throughout that tournament, it was his goals that got it for us really. The only shame on that day was that the carlisle end was half empty.

I loved Papa Waigo. What a character! Always fun (and frustrating to watch).

Well, that's winnable at least. -

No celebration. -
I don't think anyone serious on the anti-prohibition side of the debate would argue that excessive cannabis consumption will definitely not have ill-effects. However, the fact of the matter is that an extremely large amount of individuals already use it on a regular basis. The interesting thing about where it has been allowed is that consumption does not actually go up, but health problems do decrease as would be expected when you move from an illicit market without regulation to one which is carefully controlled for quality and such. What is also interesting is that hard-drug use like that of heroin which is a far more damaging drug than cannabis also falls where prohibition is lifted. And of course you also take a lot of money out of the hands of criminal enterprises and into state coffers. So there are clear societal wide health benefits, state finance benefits and potential criminality reductions from lifting prohibition. I don't know what we are waiting for.

He's a very good player, but has been frustrating since we have bought him as he does something brilliant interspersed with giving the ball away cheaply and so on. He clearly has it, but sometimes lets himself down. Has done well the last couple of matches though, and long may it continue.

Arctic Monkeys album order: 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 4th, 5th. That is all.

Had a look at the book in my local waterstones and it looks fantastic and seems very comprehensive. Unfortunately can't really afford the price tag at the moment being a poor student, but looks like a great job has been done. Will definitely look into getting it some point in the future!

Was talking about this yesterday how he rarely gets the top praise. He is remarkably consistent, can't remember him having a bad match. In fact he performs so consistently, he almost melds into the background sometimes!
-
He's been doing fine - Goalkeepers need a lot of experience and he is building that up good. Remember everyone that he is only 21 which is young for an ordinary player, let alone a keeper which generally seem to peak more in their 30's.
-
Fonte playing well so far. Continuing his great season. Nice to see him do it without Lovren by his side.
-
We don't need the money, so I'd rather have a team filled with as many academy products as possible and as JWP/LS seem to be up for the Prem etc, we should hold on to them at all costs.
-
It's hard to compare between eras - all top sportsmen today are in a different league compared to decades ago in fitness and so on. And obviously equipment was different and stuff - i.e leather ball etc

Come on now! Fox was not that bad. It was by no means a below average performance, so at least a 5 if 5 is indeed average in these kind of things.
