Morgan was close to suspension last year wasn't he before Christmas and didn't get another before it rose to requiring 10. Maybe wrong but sure that's what I remember.

We only needed to replace what Shaw did for us last year not the future and on that basis RB is an upgrade on last years team.

Posted this on another thread but more relevant here now Look at the facts RK is on the face of it an upgrade on MOPO Tadic on a par with AL (with money in bank) RL - Pelle seems ideal, comments on his age but younger than RL (who was not guaranteed to start this year IMO) So we need to replace LS - we may not get someone in who has his potential but we need to look at what he delivered for us not what he could in 5 years which makes it easier to replace like for like (again with money in the bank) The money in the bank gives us opportunity to strengthen the squad as first 11 good but struggled with injuries. I feel positive that we will have a similar strength team but stronger depth in GK, CD and ST. Don't also forget there may be a youth player come through again (think Chambers last year) Stay positive I certainly feel we are going in the right direction

MP changed it at Wigan with clyne coming off and cork going to right back and that sort of worked. Clyne was ok yesterday so made sense (just WBA enjoy counter attacks with pace and w got caught). Ref made right calls on red cards but had lost control before with not giving decisions fouls on lambert and cold easily have stopped the game prior to elbow as long was holding on (he hadn't played advantage all game)

Why all the negative thoughts? 1) We played well 2) could it be we made Wigan look poor (or is it some just want to moan) 3) It was always a must not lose than a must win. 4) Fate is still in our own hands and if we continue like this we will be safe,

NC statement included the fact we needed continuity so I am not just expecting a manager to get us out of league 1 but also be here when we are in the premiership. Or at least with that in mind. I expect a big name manager (I know we are league 1 but that is what I read into statemant)

I thought Wotton wasn't great on the day but when watched it again yesterday realised we were outnumbered in midfield so it was always going to be difficult. We won 4-1 so I'm happy, start of a great era, I hope.
