I've met Dynamo and while you know its all slight of hand stuff it's still bloody impressive. I have no idea how he did the (card) tricks, but then I was slightly ****ed....

Pardews signings were the best!

Speaking to a few fellas tonight and we all agreed if nige was still here in the same situation winning with 20 mins to go he'd have taken lambert off and possibly 2 of our other best players and we'd probably have cocked it up.

It might be another 29 years until we can enjoy such pleasures again. It almost makes me sad!

It must be time for the 2013 CVA soon? How can they go on for so long in administration when Jessops gets wrapped up in hours despite 1000's of staff?

Chelsea 2 Saints 2 - Post Match Celebrations & MotM

The reason we won a point? NA decided to put our best player on... One who can hold the ball and score a goal unlike J-Rod. -
J-Rod upfront on his own is nuts. He maybe a keen runner but he can't hold up a football. It's pretty much the same team that got hammered at St Marys.

We've got to get a new centre back, goalie and battling centre mid tied down this week IMO! We can't afford to do the usual of waiting until the last couples of days in the window, there are too many games in jan to loose. -

Please saints buy a new keeper!!! -
If Everton can flirt with Champions League places occasionally there is no reason we can't. I think the key is retaining the players we develop. If you look at the Oxlaide deal, we've sold him for £10m and it would cost us £30m to buy him back. We've sold for £7m and it would cost us £50m. We are never going to be competitive without these types of talents, but when we do develop them we let the go for a fee that doesn't allow us to replace them. The key to keeping them is probably to buy a couple of marquee signings now in the ilk of Ramirez to show ambition and then offer them wages in excess of what they would get joining the big boys. Remember, they don't cost us a transfer fee...

Yes I'd expect to win one game in 3. Fulham are in dire form and you've got to aim to win all your home games regardless of the opposition's status. Besides those 3 games, Sunderland was the game I would have expected us to win.

We haven't won any games over Xmas. We miss lallana!

Fulham 1 Saints 1 - Post Match Reactions & MotM

Gemmel's thoughts are bang on. It was such a dire performance I am struggling to pick a man of the match, they were all terrible. How the hell Morgan gets 15% of the votes at the time of writing is beyond me. Can someone enlighten me to a tackle, forward pass or shot that he did today that would be deserving of man of the match? -
Brad Friedel

Some posters seem to think £6m for Lambert would be worth taking? Would you trust the current management team to replace our leading goal scorer for £6m looking at their current purchasing record? Who have they signed that really appear up to premier league standards? Arguably Clyne (pretty mistake prone) & Ramirez (£12m is looking like a lot of money right now). I honestly can't believe we spent the 6th most money in Europe in the summer and we have only got 2 players that you feel comfortable that they are in the starting line up. I honestly don't believe we would win another game this season if we led the line with Rodriguez and Mayuka.
