  1. I've renewed too. There's no way I'm going to miss us romp the league this year!!!
  2. We are crap with 451. We've got the best team on paper in the division. We should play 442 every week and try to score more goals then the opposition.Simples!
  3. Few international teams would do that well in the premier league. If we get promoted and Lambert scores a similar level in the Championship next seaspn, there is no doubt he would be scouted. Lambert strikes the ball as well as any UK striker and Pardew clearly rates him, despite having managed more 'famous' players. Nugent has played for England, there's always a chance even if its very slim.
  4. How many away games have you been to? I'm wondering what the cut off has been for this game. I've don't think I've been allocated any tickets yet and I've got 4 games on my record despite haveing been to 8.
  5. Does anyone know when the ticket office will actually allocate the tickets?
  6. Tomorrows fish and chip paper. Who gives a f*** what he thinks.
  7. Yeah looks like we were unlucky this week. Oh well, we'll turn MK over on Sat and start talking about the playoffs again!!
  8. I like the idea of keeping the teams up, instead of the **** ads. A couple of suggestions : - In Germany when they are announcing the teams the crowd shout the surname. At Arsenal when they score the crowd shout the surname. It's better than a boring cheer or boo!
  9. How much of this is down to Schneidelin? It seems when the team is playing well against open teams, he will spray the ball around and look very good. But when we are up against teams content on stifling us &/or combine this with a poor pitch (Brentford/Wycombe) , he doesn't seem to offer any creativity, goals or bite in the middle. I think a quality centre mid is the missing part of the jigsaw right now.
  10. Lol, if it means our boys go un-noticed, its a good thing.
  11. Is it just me, or have others suffered missing away tickets on their database because of the Ticket Office's incompetence? I've been to 8 games but they only have 4 on my record!!
  12. One Vision to remember the dell days!
  13. This would be awesome. It would be great to have a unique stadium with it's own design like the Emirates or new Spurs stadium (if ever built). Remember in the prem we were selling out 32k weekly for all the teams only 5 years ago. If we ever get to the prem and are challenging for euro places regularly there is no reason we couldn't get to 40-50k regularly.
  14. Having watched the game last night, I think he'd have more to offer than Defoe. He'd be the perfect partner for Rooney! LAMBERT FOR ENGLAND
  15. It wasn't that bad. Don't know what the fuss is about. Perhaps he was a bit short, but I wouldn't say he was rude.
  16. The lack of a pre season can't explain the inept perfomances I've seen recently at Wycombe & Brentford. The reason that people are getting upset in my opinion is 2 months ago we are as close as 9 points if I remember correctly. Now we are 19 points. The chances are we will win on Saturday and things will be looking up again, but we don't seem to be getting any consistancy in performances which is dissappointing.
  17. They've just asked to be allowed to sell players outside the window. If allowed that would be a f***ing disgrace. Considering if they sold James and co. ahead of our cup game they may have lost. It's on BBC website.
  18. I've also been offered corporate but turned it down. I've been before when I didn't support either team and it's great to get the free booze and food etc. The reason I turned it down is the atmosphere is always a bit muted, plus your box could turn out down the away end!!!
  19. This is significant because it could be the last game we ever play them in their current form. We are 2 divisions lower but have a good chance of winning. If this is the last game, the gloating rights will last forever. It will help erase the 4-1 humiliatiion a few years ago. If we win, they'd be even less attractive to a potential investor. There are so many reasons this is a massive game. Perhaps I was going over the top a bit in suggesting this is the biggest game ever. But it's the biggest game this week and will massively boost confidence of a potential play-off campaign.
  20. Win over Pompey, this could be the last game they ever play. This is THE biggest game ever!!!
  21. If they don't pay, surely we'd just hold back £120k of the gate receipts they are due?
  22. Just back from the game and sat directly in front of Farim and Storrie, I wish you could have seen their faces after the goal. Pompey fans were singing, "one team in hampshire" - you gotta laugh. Pompey actually played ok, but their strikers are poor. We'll have to be on top form to beat them!
  23. Yes, I'm off to the ground now. My number is 07835172836.
