That's fucking ridiculous. How the fuck can a professional VAR ref watch that and decide it's not a foul? Just blatant corruption.

I saw some evidence of this on Thursday. At numerous points WH had possession on the edge of their box and I could clearly see our MF and forward players man marking in the WH half to limit the forward passing options. I expect IJ will have been drilling them on this more in training since then and we'll see more of it today

I think this is something of a myth. He only looks like he runs fast because he has such stumpy little legs, whereas other players can cover more distance with fewer strides. He'll always be a club legend for scoring the winner at Wembley in May, but he just isn't - and never will be - a PL level player.

Does he play in a team full of son-in-laws?

They're essentially just asleep at the wheel. Martin was able to badly mis-manage the team with seemingly zero oversight from anyone above him. A shocking indictment of SR's ownership really.

It's a constant irk to me that he's the only player, aside from Dibling, who has his own song. It's not like he's ever done anything to earn cult hero status among the fans.

Manning once again showing how hideously one-footed he is there. If he could have played it to Dibling with his right there, he might have been able to do something with it.
