So S2 ends and does so in a much more satisfactory way than S1 did. Everything about this season was bigger and better. Very impressive. Now looking forward to the imminent release of the second season of The Devil's Hour on Prime (18th October). S1 was excellent, with superb performances in the lead roles from Jessica Raine and Peter Capaldi.

Just watched the analysis on MOTD and it just highlights how naive our approach is in falling for the pressing traps other teams set for us time and time again. But the most alarming thing was that we are top of the table for goals conceded from errors and top of the table for times possession lost in our own half, and in both cases by a considerable margin against the next team. That in itself should be a sackable offence.

Shea Charles scored a 94th min winner for Wednesday at Coventry today.

Well it wasn't the dry humping we all expected. And there were some positives I guess. But there were so many shortcomings as well, most of which can be attributed directly to poor management. Despite the small glimmers of hope, I saw nothing today to suggest that RM really has any idea how to get us winning games in this league.

Playing with a low block to concede possession to the opposition, and then playing keep-ball on the rare occasions that we do manage to not give it away immediately. It's utterly ridiculous. It's fine to have a quick channel runner like Archer on in a game like this if we are going to try and play him in with first time balls on the counter. But there's zero chance of us actually doing that because of RM's stubbornness.

I'm just lost for words. The one time we actually had a chance to get forward on the counter, of fucking course we just stopped, waited for Arsenal to regroup and take up their defensive shape, and passed it around meaninglessly until KWP hit a powder puff shot from outside the area. It's just insanity. The ONLY way we are ever going to cause any danger to the Arsenal goal is by counter-attacking at pace. Seriously, how can Russ not see this?

I quite enjoyed the first season, but I haven't got round to watching S2 yet. I probably won't bother now if it's not being renewed. Shame.

But what would be the point in keeping him just to get us promoted again, if we're just going to end up back in the same place two years from now: a newly promoted team, patched together on a limited budget, led by a man who doesn't have what it takes to manage at PL level? That's complete madness.

Absolutely ridiculous, far-fetched fantasy. There's no chance we'll hold out until the 11th minute FFS 🙄
