  1. I agree with this, I think we would get £10m or so for Ramirez, but wouldn't get anywhere near that for Lallana, probably £6-8m at the most. I think Premier League clubs are going to start spending less on getting players from lower divisions after spending big amounts on players who aren't actually that good...
  2. Should I quote you so he can respond?
  3. Hahaha, oh ****ing hell I hope not
  4. You are divisive...maybe he's taken you off ignore like I did after I ended up reading a lot of your posts anyway?
  5. Why don't you also send him tons of abuse by PM? That's the really cool and hard thing to do.
  6. I see you're being mature about this discussion. I also see you haven't responded to my rebuttal to your response earlier, so perhaps you could comment on that. Should those that work have to move from a more expensive area when those on benefits don't?
  7. We'll have to agree to disagree...I wonder if he thinks Lallana is a striker as well.
  8. Tajjuk in confused ramblings shock.
  9. It depends on whether you think losing the money is worth it to you. I don't know your financial situ, but throwing good money after bad gripes anyone I guess.
  10. Fans like watching winning team shock.
  11. Harry is on £4m per annum, which will be miles more than Adkins is on, but then Harry is a proven Premier League Manager, and Adkins isn't. That saving will look like fools gold if we go down and QPR stay up though.
  12. Woah, you can't come on here being all high and mighty if you have claimed before, or we can just say: If you lose your job, pay for yourself whilst out of work. End of.
  13. Nope, we're going to lose too much money on it in Winter, and with losing child benefit we can't afford to lose that money...
  14. They could always bring the tax threshold down so that they do pay tax...
  15. In the area that I am in you would find it pretty difficult to live a decent life with a houshold income of £50k. We have grown out of our current place (a small 2 bed maisonette), and to upgrade to a 3 bed terrace will cost us £400k+. On £50k you couldn't do that. There are all these stories about people not working and on benefits not being moved to cheaper areas, so why should those who earn their money do it? Following those examples should we not be subsidised? It also depends what you class as 'luxuries'. Are you saying anything but the bare essentials?
  16. We were planning on using the money towards sending my daughter to private school. I feel we're being penalised twice, once for losing the benefits and second for paying for a state school system we won't use... I am joking by the way...
  17. I wonder how long he can play at the top level? I reckon he could keep going until he's about 45.
  18. Another great contribution from you on this thread, trying to elicit a response from people. Just because you started crying cos I called you a racist (I take this back - I don't think you're a racist, ****ing moron yes, but probably not a racist) and decided to send me a number of PM's telling me what you think of me. Well you want to know what I think of you, cos I have the balls to tell you on the actual forum. 1. You are a troll. You only post to antagonise those on the forum that you feel will react. It's quite funny to see that not many people do. Percentage wise you must have one of the least responded to post counts. 2. You love the popular posters. You try to be cool, or hard, or whatever by association. Recently you and Dig Dig have started to become close, and you keep backing each other up because you think the 2 of you look hard. You don't. You do look like lovers though. 3. I can't tell how old you are. The hackneyed writing style, poor spelling and grammar points to a kid at school. However, I assume you are older than this so I'd go for a slow adult. I know living in a bedsit in Glasgow with only the internet and your right hand to keep you company must be boring, but do try to get out once in a while. It's a big, exciting world out there, you don't have to hang around trying to look cool on an internet forum. Post 5001, and out.
  19. Bull****, we already pay more tax to help others, why shouldn't we claim child benefits that have always been available to ALL people. It's never been means tested before, so why now?
  20. Of course they are assumptions?? This is just a discussion about it? I don't see why you're always so hostile, calm down! Why don't you go read another thread if you don't like people using assumptions on certain behaviours/traits. This is a forum, people have different opinions on what happens with their team. I really hope this is you venting your frustration on the forum instead of taking it out on others in your life.
  21. Because our defence is awful and with the way that Jos started the season his hand has been forced rather...
  22. I'm not saying he should, but even to freshen things up? It just seems with the lack of playing time that perhaps he was a signing that Adkins hadn't seen, that's all. He may have also said he went and watched these players to make the fans think the signings had something to do with him?
  23. You do hear that, but it was more that Adkins alluded to not wanting Yoshida, and not a classic 'I don't want to talk about any specific players', and also hardly playing Mayuka that made me think the signings weren't his.
  24. Did he go see Yoshida last season? Have you got the quotes for these two? If so fairplay, but they certainly don't seem like his signings. He that should be moved if he did go see him, but he certainly didn't seem interested in Yoshida when he was asked about him after Wigan.
  25. Sorry, writing on phone. Changed now.
