Not too bad actually, I stand by them though as I have faith in my opinion on players. I maintain that Rodriguez is not the player we needed for this season, but could be good in a couple of years. Clyne started of shaky but has improved massively, and I hope he continues (I was worried if in a bad defence then he would lose faith in his ability - it happens often). Why the speechmarks around "convictions"?

Hmmm, no he doesn't. Not to the same levels. There are scales on how talented a player is, it's not just "Does he have talent? Yes/No". I would say Dawson is far further up the talent scale than JRod. A lot further.

How is Dawson the same? He's played numerous times in the Premiership for a decent side. JRod had never played above the Championship?? Haven't seen Chester in all honesty, but is he the no1 CB that we need?

I'm on my lunch hour thanks! To be fair I am just doing going through the one thread from the Summer and I couldn't remember if it was you or SC that said it. The argument was that they weren't top 10 players this Season, which is fair (although I will happily admit I was wrong on Clyne).

Fair enough, the way you criticised me in the Summer for saying they weren't good enough I would have thought you'd stick by your convictions...

A CB of the same level as Rodriguez would be the type of quality you were looking for though...

That you're criticising the way we spent our money yet in the Summer you were more than happy with the way it was spent. Can't really criticise the club for making the same mistake you have?

That doesn't mean it's worth spending the money though, Wickham is poor?! Why not buy a better value player from abroad. Dos Santos was a flop for Spurs. So what? Torres has been a flop at Chelsea but I'd still take him. Mirallas isn't a winger, otherwise I am pretty sure he would've attracted a bit more attention scoring 20 goals from 34 appearances (20 in 25 in the League) for Olympiakos last season. This sounds like another Michu discussion to me where a player only plays in the position they last occupied (Downing being a LB for instance).

Very happy that Adkins identified (and sorted) the issues we all saw after those first 10 games. Shame it wasn't realised a couple of games earlier as we could be out of sight (relatively), bit very glad he is still at the helm after sorting the issues. Still a long way to go though.

Good resuly, continue to look a much sterner test, certainly defensively, than we did in the first 10 games. Props to Adkins for realising the issues and going some way to fixing them. Onwards and upwards.

By you not paying tax on all financial transactions. You're effectively stealing from the public pot. Or am I going to have to explain this in more depth as well? You try to moralise calling us greedy for *****ing about an allowance that we no longer have access to, yet you steal from the inland revenue and those that need it more. Pikey scum. I may well bemoan the fact that I don't have access to an allowance others have for 70 years, but I don't intentionally criminally defraud the country, and those that survive off the welfare the state provides. You sir, are a disgrace.
