  1. Don't know what Inter have got to do with it, they were utter ****e last year.
  2. Douglas = Extremely over-rated. He was rubbish when I saw him this season.
  3. No he's not, as they tend to have highs and lows. Alps doesn't have the highs.
  4. Very, very funny. "I'm bored. Come on Southampton FC, placate my boredom. If you don't I'm going to spout utter sh!te on a forum."
  5. Palace at home. Lose 4-1. Think Scowcroft may get a hat-trick...
  6. I was only picking the 'better' players.
  7. Could make a half decent (if not slightly old) team out of this lot. Should we look at any (personally I think not). Andrey Arshavin Sebastien Squillaci Denilson Paulo Ferreira Hilario Florent Malouda Yossi Benayoun Thomas Hitzlsperger Jan Mucha Phil Neville Mladen Petric Mark Schwarzer Georgios Karagkounis Mahamadou Diarra Wayne Bridge Roque Santa Cruz Danny Simpson Jermaine Pennant Matthew Upson William Gallas David Bentley Zoltan Gera Carlton Cole Franco Di Santo Schwarzer Ferreira Gallas Upson Bridge Diarra Karagounis Arshavin Benayoun Malouda Santa Cruz Subs: Hilario, Hitzelsperger, Cole, Pennant, Gera, Denilson, Neville
  8. Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree with this. Personally I think it's embarrassing and makes Reading look like a tin pot club. Maybe others don't? Fair enough, but imho it does. Not sure what is wrong with that. I assume the people that don't find it embarrassing are those that wear face paints and funny wigs to show how wacky and zany they are. I certainly wouldn't say I am a miserable person. Still don't understand the utter outrage in this thread as nowhere have I said that Adkins didn't do a good job for us until the Premiership (actually quite the opposite) and we did well between November and January, but when you are aware that a club is looking to replace the manager it's difficult not to look at their faults. It seems to be what most people are playing me on here, which is weird. But hey, mongboard members not reading posts and inferring stuff that isn't there, that's the raison d'etre for alot of the members it seems.
  9. Cardozo is frigging ace, he's like a more skilfull version of Lambert. However, he's again not the most mobile.
  10. It just seems far more professional to me. Or maybe it's the fact that it's not written on a flipchart.
  11. You comparing him to Harry there, jeez... I like my managers to act professionally, not like a cringeworthy muppet. I liked him, I really did, he's a great lower league manager, but I think he was found out, and his level is the Championship. Personally I don't think he'll get promoted next year. I just don't think Reading are good enough, and were even worse when he took over from McDermott.
  12. Wow, what a strange response this thread has got. I have never criticised the job he did to get us out of the lowet divisions, he was superb. However, this serves to show that he is not a Premiership manager, and I for one would be embarrassed if this came out at Saints.
  13. I don't know, depends on the size of the team doing second fit really.
  14. There is being positive and there is the frankly embarrassing **** above. It makes me laugh, but if that was my club I'd be cringing about what football fans around the country think about our club. Secondly, the reason a lot of us turned was the fact that he was out of his depth, and demonstratably so by his team and tactics selections early in the Season.
  15. No surprise that Cortese let him go if this is the sort of thing he wanted to do. Makes them look like such a mickey mouse club. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2336872/Nigel-Adkins-cheesy-message-Reading-supporters.html
  16. 9. Got Westfalonstadion incorrect
  17. Very similar stats to Gaston actually when you start the game. Apparently he lacks match fitness as well...
  18. Is someone seriously not going to post FM stats...
  19. Looks like it's just constantly changing...
  20. Here it is:
  21. He's signed for Barca actually... "He has been capped by the Uruguay national under-20 football team. On June 6th, Bueno signed a 5 year contract with F.C. Barcelona for a reported fee of €32m."
  22. I wasn't taking it as read, but mine said 26 apps 0 goals...
  23. "...has made a big impact for his club by coming off the bench to score crucial goals." According to Wiki he's never scored for his club...
  24. I don't see how it could be, he would not have control on how people prove their disability. The error is with the ticket office.
