So how are we all feeling after being able to sleep on it? For me, the timing was a shame, but ultimately the decision could be correct, and I am quite excited to see what happens under Pochettino. Ultimately, football is about entertainment and excitement and this kind of move certainly does make it more exciting. One thing we certainly need to ensure is that we do not do a Chelsea and screw ourselves over. Chelsea are in a position where they're not going to lose out massively by doing protesting during the game, but we could. As I alluded to back in October, I had heard that a management search was on (I'm not going to tell you my sources) and that it was a case of when not if Adkins would be replaced. I also saw in a Spanish paper on Tuesday they mentioned Pochettino to Saints. I felt it was actually wide of the mark which was why I didn't mention it, but turns out it wasn't and should have taken more notice.
