It has been widely reported that Lowe had money available for Redknapp to use, but he felt we had a good enough team with just bringing in Fuller. Which to be fair looks to be correct, seeing as Higginbotham, Delap, Fuller, Jones, players at the time deemed not good enough, are in the prem. The reason the 2 million appeared after they had got rid of those players was WE WANTED TO LOAN RASIAK FIRST, TO MAKE SURE HE WAS A SOUND INVESTMENT.

No, he's no Alan Sugar, Richard Branson etc but I don't see any of them wanting to run our club. Plus, they are entrepreneurs and not businessmen per se (and there is a discernable difference). Personally, I would call him successful but I assume that is a subjective thing. I remember an article back on TSF or even on SF which showed his directorship (executive and non executive) of a number of companies (listed to about 30 or 40). People don't just appoint directors for no reason, especially if they draw a salary.

If he wanted to get onto the board he could have bought someone's shares and bought himself onto the board. But he didn't. Why's that? The whole point is that people who aren't financially responsible to the club generally aren't good to have as directors. There has to be a certain amount of accountability.

Do you know what, I am so glad we have all these financial and football experts on here to help us get through this situation. Obviousely, the fiscal prudence and succesful business acumen means that you all know more than Rupert, and that is why he is a highly rated businessman and why you lot are posting on a ****ing forum. As far as I'm concerned, unless ANY of you can prove your business success by buying him out your opinion doesn't matter one ****ing jot, because I guarantee you have no idea how to run a big company and try to get a club constantly making a loss out of trouble. So come on, either put your money where your mouth is and buy the club and show everyone exactly how to run a business, or shut up and accept that you saying 'Lowe out' and trying to second guess his decisions as he 'tries to take us into administration' is stupid, and in the whole scheme of things pointless. The worst thing is that the more 'impresssionable' users of this forum believe what you say because you say it in a forthright way. It must make you all feel so important to have the constant gratification of people agreeing with you, even though they know as much as you do. As you can tell this winds me up. What winds me up most is everyone ****ing complaining all the ****ing time. It was widely known at the beginning of the season that if we stayed up this season it would be a success. If you though anymore than that then you're a 'tard and as such, shouldn't be allowed on the internet without supervision. If the league finished now we'd stay up, which considering the age of the team, the inexperience of the manager, the lack of crowds and the whining fans is not that bad. Winds the living **** out of me when people start the season saying all we have to do is stay up and the team doing enough for that and people are still getting on their backs. Wtf did you all expect?

Allegedly. My source is someone who knows the girl. She's quite infamous in the area as a high class Escort (ever go to Piano Bar or Dock Gate 4 and you may know her) and used to do a lot of favours for Agustin and his brother. Turns out 'someone' went round to Agustin's whilst she was there with him and his brother and asked if he could have a go. Of course, this may not be 100% correct, but I do trust my source, but that is my understanding and certainly makes some sense of the situation...

I completely agree. I've stopped bothered reading most of this forum because it's the fans that wind me up. They're blinded by their love/hatred for Lowe, and to be honest most people misunderstand the issues we're facing/the history of it all/what administration means etc. It's like listening to an argument between badly educated children. Whoever shouts the loudest is right. I think we are going to struggle but we have no choice. Lowe won't be ousted by people not going to matches and people don't realise this. We'll go into adminstration, get relegated and Lowe will buy the club back. I've fallen out of love with Saints because of the fans more than anything else, you're all a bunch of clueless, whining, myopic kids.

I'm not one bit surprised we've lost Davies, I always thought he was our most saleable asset. And I don't blame Lowe, I blame Crouch and Wilde. If people are surprised by this and/or blame Lowe for this situation then I'm sorry but you're as thick as ****, FACT I love putting FACT cos it means I don't have to listen to any poorly constructed arguments. That's cos you are. Personally I believe that all the over spending by Wilde/Crouch et al had to be done. Mainly because of Lowe. And all our current mess is due to the fact that Lowe came back. Administration is not the worst thing in the world. Look at Rotherham, Bournemouth, Luton, Leeds, they've all done fine out of it. It's not as if Lowe's hands are tied. Personally, if I had the choice, I'd have kept all the best players at the club, sold the bad ones, reduced costs by opening more corners in the ground and taking on more staff. Then I'd have hired a well known and proven manager (possibly along the lines of Burley, or Redknapp) and we'd ace this league.

What I don't get is how people can be this stupid. People are saying 'How could we afford Spiderman etc'. We certainly didn't pay £1.2m up front. Possibly £250k. The money that the previous directors and Burley wasted on **** players can't be recouped AS NO ONE WANTS THEM. Why can't this be understood? The directors are trying to make the best of a bad mess. What is so difficult to understand? The plan that would have been given to the bank would have been to sell a certain amount of players AND reduce the wage bill. So far, due to world's economic condition and the fact the 'senior' players we have are **** means that people don't want to buy them. Someone answer me.
