  1. I think there are quite a few on the first page who mocked me when I suggested that Adkins didn't have anything to do with some signings...
  2. I don't disagree. However, I do believe that Poch took on a new team and did comparably with harder games...
  3. So it looks like Boruc wasn't an Adkins signing then...but I thought he had a say in all our signings? Strange, as I could be sure that's what people said.
  4. He frigging ruled. Also Kennedy Bakircioglou, Cherno Samba, Mike Duff, Radoslaw Kaluzny and Assane N'Diaye (a few of my favourites there).
  5. I would say it's more about points per game isn't it as you can't judge him on how other teams get on...
  6. 20 Finishing, 20 Dribbling, 20 Pace.
  7. Also gossip though is that Norwich have agreed an 8.5m fee for Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. Now he is worth that kinda money.
  8. He's a good player, not great scoring record but would be perfect playing off SRL. 8 million is going rate I suppose, JRod was 7...
  9. That's not obvious but if so, yes, you are right.
  10. Damn straight. I have an idea on who it could be...
  11. Win more games than what though? What's the measure?
  12. They were never actually interested in us, they used us a leverage in the Coventry deal.
  13. Great news!!!!!! Glad they gave him a 3 year deal as well, it's one of those things where his skills will not diminish and he never had any pace so it is a low risk extension. GET THE FLIP IN!
  14. They may win less than 50%, but that number is significantly higher than the proportion they lose... From the stats he shows if you have more shots on goal you will (on average) win 27% more of the games than if you have less shots. In essence, if you have more shots on goal than the opposition you have a 27% higher chance of winning the game than if you had less shots than the opposition.
  15. I really wouldn't bother. It doesn't matter how much you argue, how much you think they're misinterpreting what you say, they will never agree with you and will jump on language and inconsistencies to discredit you. Give it up, most people understand what you're saying.
  16. No idea, I certainly didn't say that he was! He's a good manager and did well for us, but no more for me.
  17. Erm, I didn't say you did. I meant they exagerrated by saying he was like SAF.
  18. Well that's not the same thing, so that's probably why. We would probably be higher under Allardyce but I wouldn't want him here ahead of either.
  19. Wow, and you say I have an obsession?! How much of your life do you spend going back through my post history? I would do it to you but frankly, I don't have the time or inclination to spend anymore of my time looking through your threads (especially after collecting all the evidence needed for my previous accusations of you). But good call, you've managed to take threads from years ago so that they look out of place, yet at the time were on the ball, so thanks for that.
  20. Oh, lol, that one. That was a joke thread wasn't it though? This one is serious.
  21. He never was though was he? People vastly exaggerate to help their arguments. It'll be interesting to see what the opinions are of those who vehemently defended him earlier in the year.
  22. It's a big failing with a lot of teams in all honesty. See QPR v Villa at the weekend.
  23. I didn't realise there was any other threads asking this question. Strange that you would waste your time reading and indeed replying to a thread that is duplicated elsewhere.
