  1. I think staying up this season, expecially considering the atrocious start we had and the way Adkins managed the team until late November. It could have really harmed our chances to stay up (although not safe yet still).
  2. Thatchers legacy is Mr Whippy ice cream by the sound of things...
  3. The Bishop of London turns out to be a comedian...
  4. More exciting than work
  5. Well respected so far. Couldn't get out of work to watch it so watching on Skygo.
  6. Adkins has a say in ALL transfers. Pochettino's teams play rubbish football. Sacking Adkins would be a disaster.
  7. I was 4 so obviously didn't have much understanding of it, but obviously it's something that is really ingrained into football fans in this country.
  8. People who leave Oxford Street after a days shopping at 5pm, not thinking that this is rush hour. People who stand still on the left hand side of an escalator. South West Trains. People who shout 'Move down the carriage' when there is no room. Sunday drivers. People who drive up my @rse when I have my child in the car. People who want to race me away from lights even though they're in a 2000 Golf GTI. Audi drivers. People who use 'of' instead of 'have'. People who use 'brought' instead of 'bought'. Mouthbreathers. People who are allowed to breed even though they have no money. Youth who riot yet have no idea why they are, apart from that they should. The far left. The far right. North Korea.
  9. Why does their economy kick the **** out of ours?
  10. It depends on how you view the ownership of it, and also how you view the Government rights to privatised industry (whether as 'owner' of the country for the duration of the term, or as a custodian).
  11. Honestly, I am yet to find someone, left, right, black, white etc outside of the Tory party that thinks this is a good idea. Will be a massive cluster****.
  12. Certainly privatisation isn't for every industry, and for me the NHS is something we need to keep in it's current form, not the pseudo-bastardised privatised system that Lansbury wanted. However, for other industries there is no doubt that it is appropriate.
  13. Yes, and are now successful, unlike in the 70's when owned by British firms. How has that helped your point in any way?
  14. Show me where I said we are bad at manufacturing now. My points were about the 70's. If you can I'll be very, very surprised. Chop, chop.
  15. Which one, the one where the companies were on their knees in the 70's.
  16. Who are you responding to?
  17. How's your list coming along?
  18. Wow, glad you've read the thread properly. Firstly, I didn't say that we are poor at manufacturing now, quite the opposite, we are excellent at highly technical manufacturing. My point was we were bad in the 70's, but hey, don't worry, no need to read the thread properly when you can come on here, spout rubbish and make an idiot of yourself. Perhaps I could ask you to give me examples of good British products from the 70's, as no-one else has. Secondly, calm down dear, it might never happen.
  19. BS, you should move to North Korea. They currently have the kind of technological, left wing, state owned utopia that you crave for.
  20. Would be a good signing, even to add depth to the squad and allow us to rotate Cork and Morgan (especially with all those Europa League matches).
  21. British music isn't really manufacturing is it? And those cars were not good, even by 70's standards.
