I think if Israel really wants to defeat Hamas they have to look at the reason people are being driven towards extremist parties. Gaza is home to nearly 1.5m people who live in what is basically a huge prision. Israel has full control of the boarders and has full control of what is aloud in or out. This includes food, fuel and medicine. All 3 are nearly always in short supply. This was the case through out the ceasefire that has just ended. These terrible conditions are forced upon them by the Isralies and the whole population is collectivly punished for the actions of a small number if millitants that choose to fight back. Both need to use more restraint but I think the Israelies need to seriously considering letting the residents of Gaza live free lives if they want them to stop supporting the millitants

When I log in to my PC, underneath my log in there is message say how many unread emails there are in a hotmail account that I rarely use. Is there anyway of removing this. It's an account that I use when I suspect spam may be an issue and therefore always has hundreds of unopened mails.

But what else are you expecting him to do. I am not a fan of Lowe and am not enjoying what is happening to our club at the moment but it is very annoying to come on here and read countless post criticising Lowe but not offering any suggestion of there own. It's a simple fact. We need to raise cash. As soon as possible. The only assets we have that are worth any money are our talented younger players. This means we are left with the choice of selling some of then now to try and prevent administration. If we don't sell and do go into administration we still end up having to sell players, we will just get a lot less for them. We are in a lose/lose situation

I've just been to a near by farm and bought about 25 gallons of cider for £50. A deal that I am very pleased with. Just a shame it's not all mine and I have to give most of it away.

I've just bottled my first batch of wine. After a recommendation from someone queuing behind me at my local homebrew shop I decided to give a red wine kit a go. £10 for 6 bottles. Not had a proper test yet, it's a little early for wine, but the little I got in my mouth from siphoning didn't taste too bad at all. Quite looking forward to opening a bottle later. I love cheap booze.

Woohoo. I have just found out that I am going to be getting a very large quantity of free (apart from a days work) cider. Me and a small group of friends are going to a farm next Sunday where we will picking as many apples as we like from thr orchard then using the farmers mill/press to produce the juice. The farmer has said that we just need to give him half the juice that we make. He has said that we can take as like. To give us an idea of the size of his orchard he said that last year he sold over 20 tons of apples to Thatchers. He is also willing to sell us some of his left over stuff from a couple of years ago at very competitive prices. Happy days

I personally think that even though the gov/police have been using them to raise funds they are still very important. I don't really have that much time for people who moan about them due to the very simple strategy that can be used to ensure that they you never get fined.

I did read the whole thread before posting thanks. As Ponty said, I don't believe that you would be raising this issues that you have the last few days unless you agreed in principle with some of the ideas. We live in a free country and everyone should be automatically willing to defend that. Are there any other basic freedoms that you wish to discuss potentially removing?
