Reading the whole interview, where he says he want to have his squad in place for 1st July hardly sounds like a man who doesn't expect to be here next season.

Cortese sold MP the vision. With him gone, that vision is somewhat blurred. He'll know his transfer targets on the budget that was agreed when he came in (on the assumption we stayed in the Prem), now if Cortese is being replaced those budgets are not necessarily there and he would probably have to hold fire (risk losing the players he has lined up) until a new guy is in place and new budgets agreed. I think I would reconsider my position if I were in his shoes.

Results wise maybe but for the most part we've played decent football (even in the first 10 games). There's certainly room for improvement but if you had offered me the season we've had before hand, I for one would have taken it, no question!

I guess it depends what level you're talking about? International class? Premier League standard? or professional footballer? Also depends on your view of what age is acceptable for the player to join the Academy to be one of ours.
