  1. Shipps. A legend for scoring against Pumpey in the cup.
  2. Also, http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/ Plus the commentary is free online on Solent for the FA Cup.
  3. Don't know! But I'm pretty sure he'll rest Ronaldo!
  4. Plus, most of the other players we have had on loan have been sh!t!!
  5. Phew!! For a minute I thought you meant Kelvin Davis.
  6. I think most of us agree with this but I am not convinced that the people who run the club think the same way.
  7. That's more like it!!
  8. I have to agree! The thing is if we are relegated, administration is all but inevitable.
  9. Well, the only loanees that were any cop, were Cork and Pearce. The fans wanted to keep them and tbf Jan wanted to keep them. We have spectacularly managed to keep neither. All those advocating selling Surman and Lallana had better think again, because if they go we have no chance of surviving (not that I think we have much chance anyway!).
  10. Nothing on Watford site, nothing on OS, nothing on Sky and nothing on BBC. Is this just more BS on this site only?
  11. Razor Ruddock?
  12. We wouldn't want either of them because they will both be cup-tied!
  13. I agree we should wait and see but his loan runs out in less than 6 1/2 hours and we've heard nothing.
  14. If they were any cop they would.
  15. As anyone thought that some of the lower paid players might actually want a pay rise after a full year in the CCC and if we aren't prepared to give it to them, they might bngger off to a club that is?
  16. This is true but political parties, unions and other clubs and associations manage it, so why can't we? However, to have any real credibility it has to be totally democratic. Everyone with a interest in Saints (financial or not), should be eligible to be members of the Trust, or Supporters Association (or whatever name you want to call them). The Chair and the Committee should have to put themselves up for election annually, allowing all members to vote on their past performance and their ongoing manifesto. Anyone sould be able to stand for any of the Committee's positions by puting forward their own manifesto. As a previous poster has said, an association of 5,000 or more members, should and would be listened to but only if it's truely representative of the fanbase.
  17. The concept is fine but these things tend to be hijacked by certain individuals with certain agendas because of the apathy and can't be a*rsed attidute of the general fanbase.
  18. I am, in a way sympathetic to the fact that, maybe there should be an outer concourse, where smokers could go to feed their habit. However, this would be expensive to set-up and would have to be properly stewarded. As we have closed sections of the ground because we cannot afford to steward them, this isn't going to happen (unless we get a sugar daddy to buy out Lowe, Askham, Wilde, Crouch et al).
  19. What has suddenly changed at the Echo? They seem to now be actually reporting it how they see it, whereas most of the season have seemed more of an extension of the OS, towing the party line.
  20. MLT's v Newcastle. Channon's v Liverpool. Danny Wallace's also v Liverpool and Magilton's v Skates (all at the Dell). Pahars' also v Skates, Delap's v Spuds and John's v Hull City (at St Marys). Edit: I forgot Nick Holmes v Watford and Barry Horne v Bolton (both at the Dell, kicking towards the Milton and closer the halfway line than the goal).
  21. Frannie Benali's diving header for Oldham? (I think) at the Milton end, was a cracker!
  22. During the Forest game (and that was the first time I noticed it) they definately had signs both signs of the mini-goalposts stating something like (can't remember the exact wording) 'Beware flying footballs. Danger of injury'.
