  1. Sounds like an MD we had for a couple of years. Employed as a truble shooter and revolutionary, he spent an absolute fortune turning working practices and procedures upside down and then all of sudden, 'moved on' leaving a trail of disaster behind him. 18 months down then line everything he did had been erased from the business. Complete waste of space and wasted opportunity (the MD and Wotte).
  2. Me thinks Tom28 wrote Rupert's AGM letter.
  3. But surely a comment saying these 2 are no longer employed by the club, doesn't breach due legal process? These two have just 'disappeared'. It happened a lot with Pol Pot's right-hand men as well.
  4. I know and one takes anything on here with a pinch of salt. I was actually sticking up for Stu, (although I'm sure he can do that himself) because he started the thead on the back of the previous one. BTW, when Ron says we are pretty close to "the end game" then I for one, tend to sit up and take notice.
  5. Changed it for you!
  6. Hang on a minute. This thread just follows on from the one where Fitzhugh and Weston intimated that a Board Meeting had been called for Tuesday and administration was a definite possibility, if not probability. The question was asked what do WE do as supporters post admin to successfully get the club back on track?
  7. No only one. Everyone has forgotton that his middle name was "B@stard". Saints supporters changed it by deed poll.
  8. George Reader RIP. Askham destroyed all his good work.
  9. So in other words, they are surplus to requirement but we can't afford to sack them or pay them off and therefore seeing out their contracts away from the club.
  10. I'm not sure I agree but if there has been an improvement, it has been staggeringly outpaced by the improvement of all the teams around us (Derby, Watford, Forest, Donny Rovers and even Charlton). Some have changed manager, others stuck with theirs but all have managed to string a few results together, whereas we can't buy one win, let alone a string.
  11. I'll start! David McGoldrick.....................Or was the question, played more than 10 games and are any good?
  12. Yes but 3 months FFS. They could have asked any idiot off the street, on the day they took the job and he could have told them that!
  13. Right and wrong! It was originally Carrefour, became Gateway and then ASDA.
  14. Perry Groves and David Howells.
  15. Blimey, you'd need a massive wide angle lens to get OUR trophy cabinet in.
  16. Beginning to look a decent team. Put Maik Taylor or Paul Smith in goal and Dexter Blackstock up front with McDonald, I'm sure you could add a few more and they certainly give to current lot a run for their money.
  17. Lowe's biggest mistake is his last one. He keeps trumping himself!
  18. Agree 100%
  19. Yes, Wotte should never have been given the job in the summer and most definitely not the head's job once JP left. Lowe and Wilde have a lot to answer for, they have overseen a decline of monumental proportions, one from which this club may never recover. When Lowe employed Redknapp, many thought it would go pear-shaped because they were so different. However, now one can see the similarities in their personalities. They both delight in taking all the plaudits in the good times but when things aren't going so well, just about anyone else is to blame except them.
  20. We hear this sh!t after evey game. This club is a complete laughing stock!
  21. Just a question. If we can't afford Rasiak and John's wages, haven't 'off-loaded' Euell or Skacel and now have Saga back on the wage bill, how have we suddenly got money to pay the wages of a Premiership striker?
  22. Do I want RL to stay? Not for a second longer and hope to god there is somebody out there willing to buy his shares, to rid this club of him for good. Do I think he is the right person to run the club? From my answer above, you'll not be surprised to hear that I don't. Do I like him? I don't know the man, so couldn't say. But I hate what he has done to the club, don't like the way he has treated certain people associated with the club and its fan-base and do not like his completely arrogant demeanor. So I imagine that if I did know him, the answer would also be no.
  23. He could afford to take us over! But then again he'd probably insist in being in the team.
  24. I think this is the point! The club should have built on the feel-good factor of last seasons survival. Many of us saw that as the bottoming out point, even though everyone was aware of the financial restraints the club were still under and that certain cutbacks would have to be made. However Lowe and Wilde came back with a bloody big pin, to burst that bubble.
