  1. Still can't see less than 50 being enough. We've got to find at least 3 wins from somewhere, IMO.
  2. Pretty sure it's SO14. Oh you're talking about Charlton!
  3. But remember, you would also have representatives of all the official Supporters Clubs and associations, like the Trust, London Saints, Cardiff Saints etc, most of whom are already quite cozy with the 'party line'. However, if you wanted someone to balance out the views from a TSW point of view, I certainly wouldn't suggest NC but would probably support GM.
  4. In That Number!!
  5. You didn't see him at Hull then? I know he was struggling with an injury but that was on a par with Granger's performance at Everton.
  6. Perry would be almost as antogonistic as Chorley. Of the SISA lot I'd go for Mick O'Callaghan. I agree with Clive and Chris and as others have said Duncan and Daren W would be good choices.
  7. Home v Everton. Marian Pahars diving header.....perfect!!
  8. Then had a hand in sacking him, twice!
  9. He paid lots and lots of money for SLH shares.
  10. I have sympathy with the OP in the fact that Block 4 until this season was a pretty much totally seated area. It is not his fault that Rupert decided to close Blocks 1 and 2 and therefore cause the problem in Block 4. Why should anyone be forced out of a section the've been sitting in (may be) since the stadium was built, to accommodate the 'standers?'
  11. Are you a timelord?
  12. I dreamt Tuesday's game being a draw with Derby getting a late equaliser. I didn't put any money on though.
  13. This is a very good point. Anyone who takes over, has to be someone that has been out of a job for a while, hoping to rebuild his career or a young 'up and coming' manager, either from the lower leagues (Nigel Clough type) or just finished (or maybe coming to the end of their playing career), trying to build a name for himself in management. Whoever it is, it will be a gamble, if not as much of a gamble as the JP thing.
  14. Would you keep Wotte as Manager (Head Coach)?
  15. We need to win and I believe we will win this one. 2-0 Saints (Saga and Surman).
  16. I think it's a Dutch thing and the way they use language. They are not the world's greatest diplomats because they come over as arrogant (generalising). He is basically saying that we all need to pull in the same direction to get out of the mess we are in, which is fair enough. However he said it in a way that antagonises a large percentage of the fan-base, which is counter productive. IMO he should say nothing and let the football and results do the talking for him.
  17. HCDAJAU on 3rd May
  18. Wouldn't likelihood of relegation be taken into account and the closer we get, assist the decision to go into adminstration (and take the points hit) this season?
  19. Wilde scouted Jack Boyle. May be next season we'll have a team made up of Channel Island teenagers?
  20. That's what I thought. From the way it was explained on here, it was up with the Ronnie Rosenthal miss, that always gets on the 'gaffs' DVDs.
  21. Sorry, should have put a winky thing after that but when SMS was first built, there was a rumour going around that The Beckhams had paid for a lift to be installed so that Posh could get directly to the VIP sections without having to mix it with the oiks of the prawn sandwich brigade and the Lowe life.
  22. When Becks was asked about his ambition of eventually owning a football club in some interview, he did actually mention Southampton by name as being the right size/profile etc. etc. etc. (Remember, it was rumoured that his Lady Wife has her own private lift at SMS). I think Jackson took this to mean that it was definately happening and went about trying to work out how he could become the fix it man. I tend to go with Trousers' 'pie in the sky' thoery myself but you never know!
  23. BBC Just had an interview with Jonathan Wilkes and talked about Port Vale's financial struggle to stay afloat. Asked why his buddy Robbie Williams doesn't help out as "he's got a few bob". Wilkes said that he has and he does what he can but when the choice is a new LB or saving a childs life, there's only one choice. (New LB at Port Vale, coming soon then! ).
