  1. It wouldn't be a boycott from me, it would be the end!
  2. Sorry! Couldn't see that, can you make it bigger for me?
  3. I think that was when there was 3 in due diligence. Doesn't rule out the Guernsey 2 though!
  4. Like this season, won't be able to get to enough games to justify a ST but hope to make a dozen or so home games and 3 or 4 away games. That is unless RL returns (in any fit, form and function, even in an advisory roll), then both will be a big fat zero.
  5. Me too TBH. The only thing that will stop Surman being a top player is his lack of pace but he's certainly got enough about him to be a Premiership player.
  6. Just a thought on Steele and Hubbard: May be they are linked to Lowe (or indeed Wilde) after all? It wouldn't normally be prudent to buy a company without going through a due diligence process in advance but If these 2 were linked to Lowe/Wilde, they would know exactly what they were buying.
  7. I'm not particularly keen on Crouch and McMenemy or Askham and Richards being in the Directors Box at St Mary's but they have at least (to varying degrees) put money into the Save our Saints fund to help us keep afloat. Not forgetting that Crouch and McMenemy have at least paid their own way into the stadium by way of their Box and therefore, in no way are freeloading.
  8. Can't wait until March Madness......Oh damn!!
  9. I didn't think there was anyone left apart from Uncle Tom Cobbley. Is it him?
  10. I wonder, that now we are officially relegated, if the FL will fight our appeal as rigorously as they would have done if we had stayed in the CCC.
  11. Fry actually said that relegation had had an effect on the value but the parties he was negotiating with had already factored that likelihood in to the equation.
  12. Well they live there. Dont know about Steele but Hubbard is a Hampshire boy and according to the Guernsey local paper (a previous poster put up) a Saints fan.
  13. Souey has contacts in Genoa from his playing days with Sampdoria.
  14. I think they are the only ones not to tick the "No Publicity" box on their pools coupon.
  15. Your lot are owned by a consortium and you couldn't say they are short when it comes to cash.
  16. Not a bad shout.
  17. They do it at the Millennium Stadium, they also have Monster Trucks and all-sorts there.
  18. Good post! Can't disagree with any of that.
  19. Not necessarily true. Of the 4 London clubs in the Guinness Premiership, only Harlequins play in London (Wasps - Wycombe, Saracens - Watford and Irish - Reading). May be a deal to get one of the West Country teams (Bath comes to mind) to relocate? Or if Newbury were ever to get promoted, they'd be ideal.
  20. Can't see us poaching anyone from a higher division. An ex Premiership or Championship manager that has been out of work for a while, possibly but not one currently in employment. If we were to poach a manager, they would, at best, be in the same division or lower. I think Tisdale would probably do a decent job but I also wonder whether he has the profile to attract decent players here or get the respect of the ones already here, who stay. On another thread I mentioned Ronnie Moore and I would still like to see someone of his ilk brought in.
  21. And Ben Le Flightbag!
  22. Morph hinted at it, as did FF.
  23. Yes, I didn't say it's impossible, just improbable.
  24. Yes, saw that! Doesn't exactly tie in with this morning's interview Fry had with Radio Solent.
