I sort of agree with this but the speed and athleticism of the game is on a different planet to 30 years ago. That said, good players now don't have to put up with being booted into row z throughout their entire careers, like Greaves and Best had to.

Imagine how good George Best would have been if he hadn't had to put up with those grainy black and white pictures.

Prior to Rupert's original own label designs you could buy our shirts in selected outlets within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight but they didn't have the mass appeal back then (aside maybe the Rank Xerox Keegan kits).
