I agree with most of that. What did it for him was the step towards his right, which when he eventually moved towards the ball put him off balance and unable to recover. I think he probably had Willian's previous freekick on his mind with regards to positioning. It was not disastrous goal keeping but as you say He, himself will not be happy with it! My concerns are more about the parries back into the danger zone and the dropped catches.

Players might be more inclined to try and stay on their feet if referees still gave the penalty if a goal is not scored from the advantage. Then to be booked for diving for what was also a nailed on foul, was ridiculous.

In this scenario, you are the "board!" No matter how much we love the locality of the stadium, nobody can argue that it's surroundings are not currently a 5h!t hole. If I were money no object owner, I'd certainly be looking at extra revenue streams and improving the matchday experience by building bars, restaurants, other food outlets, may be a hotel and get lease/rental income from the operators all year round.

I don't understand the problem you and some others have with our business model. We buy players for the position we are (or produce our own) at a relatively small cost and once they are at a level, when they feel they need to be playing CL football, we sell them on for a phenomenal amount of money, which is in turn reinvested in our playing squad and facilities. We are not a top 6 team and with FFP, we are never going to be one. Our success is to try and be the best of the rest and to be fair, we are doing a pretty good job at that and there is no reason to think we can't continue, even with our p!55 poor net spend.

Sounds a bit like sour grapes to me. No, he is not the finished article! Early 20s is still young for a centre back and if he were a world beater at this moment in time, we wouldn't be able to afford him nor would he be interested in coming here. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
