I’m probably in the minority here but I do think he has made us a nastier team to play against. I’m not in the place now where one goal against results in a capitulation. The squad is crying out for more athleticism to do what he wants though and obviously a good striker.

Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!

Stupid fucking name -
All I know is that I’m definitely going to start confusing people with the phrase ‘in short, the more bread the more meatballs’ Probably start using it tomorrow at work to sum every situation/ problem.

Booo admin, it’s not a really a transfer window if DT doesn’t start losing his shit and start going on inexplicable fantasy monologues. His MO is to breakdown if anyone in the world of football signs for anyone else who isn’t Saints.

To be fair that’s the right answer, never like the idea of players using painkillers to get through games, invariably it makes the injury worse.

It’s not that tricky to understand as he’d be in a more senior role, hence it’s a promotion.

Did we look better/ more dynamic without Adams on, or just coincidence that the game was flowing that way anyway?

It was soft, but a stupid challenge, got to be jockeying him there. He does have these rash decisions in him unfortunately.

I find it difficult to believe that you have friends…

I’m just really worried about Jane’s situation. Updates please….

Was reading the match review on the OS which I never do but obviously difficult to follow the game today if you weren’t there ( can’t believe I no longer have an fm radio). Anyway, was quite surprised at how balanced it was and was quite critical of Saints in the first half and said our youngsters need to learn to be more robust. Not sure if they are usually that balanced…

Found this on FB; not sure how accurate but it would suggest we are one of the underperforming teams ( no surprise there) but not as much as the likes of Villa, Leicester, Wolves, Forest and Liverpool Thoughts?

Look I think Ralph’s time is up as well but I’m still really happy cos we won, this place is proper weird sometimes. Can tell the majority are armchair or ‘modern’ fans.

I’d feel like we had accepted relegation.

I don’t think he looks fit to be honest

What are you lot talking about! He has a lot to learn but he is so much better than McCarthy. I thought he was sound today and could do nothing about the goals. Some good saves and a couple of really good takes that McCarthy would have flapped all over.

Ralph’s time is up and I agree we need a change but that’s not based on this game but the general trend. Weirdly for a 4-0 loss I thought both CBs and the goalie had a good game. Our problems today were a non existent midfield and a general lack of forward passing. Also Armstrong was so high up first half particularly that KWP was horribly isolated and most of the time 2vs1 with Foden and Cancello. Not sure if this was tactical or just laziness to track back from Armstrong.

Saka looked good when coming on. Weird that playing him in the position he has excelled all season rather than left wing back…

It’s detailed in some of their telegram posts
