  2. hilarious as you used to hate him
  3. Leandre Griffit - he's currently a free agents. let's get him :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leandre_Griffit
  4. It's fair to sat that over the years the Saints youth system has produced some excellent talent Le Tissier, Shearer, Walcott etc. However, there have been many times when I have been excited by some players who have then failed to make the grade at the top level. So to the nearly men.... I'll start with Frankie Bennett. Thought he was going to be awesome. Finished his career at Brislington. Also Tim Sparv, although having a career in Holland thought he was going to be sensational
  5. Is there anything that gives you joy or any hope of happiness? Pessimistic to a fault.
  6. But surely as fans we're remember the great day out. Don't we deserve it...
  7. Basically we were outplayed today. If we had scored in the first half I think it may have been a different story. A few of our players had off days - Puncheon in particular (undoubted ability but don't think he has the graft in his game when the chips are down). I thought Swindon were impressive, good passing and moving at times and looked solid at the back. It wasn't that we played particularly bad or the players didn't work hard, it was just that we came up against a good side, who tactically got it spot on IMHO. I know we have spent loads and they have got the funds for their players from selling a donkey or whatever, but that football and its hard to take but that the way it is. I went to the Swindon game away and honestly thought after that we were in with a big danger of getting relegated this year. Although I'm annoyed and frustrated after tonight, I am not feeling suicidal after I did at the away game!
  8. Really? I thought they were one of the best teams I've seen down here this season
  9. Maybe because its their opinion you Nazi
  10. Just done the predictor: I had us as losing away to Bristol Rovers, drawing away to Gillingham and winning all other games: Here is the top 10: Norwich 104 (+58 ) Leeds 91 (+39) Millwall 89 (+33) Swindon 81 (+12) Charlton 79 (+20) SAINTS 78 (+52) ----------- Colchester 78 (+20) Huddersfield 74 (+18 ) MK Dons 68 (-1) Brist Rovs 65 (-4) So there we go... :-)
  11. Sorry delete this thread just saw the sticky where this should have gone. It's been a long day...
  12. Does anyone know how to get hold of anybody organising the coach from Weymouth to Wembley for the final?
  13. Hi all, Does anyone know how to get hold of anybody organising the coach from Weymouth to Wembley for the final?
  14. You'd hope that was the reason. They are a right pair the dad encourages the kid to get involved in chants. the best one last night was both of them screaming 'Who the ****ing hell are you'. Nothing like a bit of responsible parenting.
  15. Maybe thats actually what is upsetting me there. My gf did say what the hell are you wearing as I left - I thought I was making a fashion statement
  16. Interesting blog on BBC about who is in the run for the playoffs (my apologies if this has already been posted). http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2010/03/who_is_going_up_from_league_on.html#197157 Hopefully we will be that wildcard he refers to at the end!
  17. [/url] My new celebrity status on the OS gallery from last night. I am at the bottom of the page and looked chuffed to bits - 5-0 is never enough.
  18. Maybe but I think it is more to do with the service. it seems whenever Morgan either does not play or does play but disappears from games we suffer. it's worrying that we need one player to be performing for the rest of the team to drive forward

  20. So buying two of the leagues top scorers is not that?
  21. 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' 'Cos your town is full of *****rs, and you all **** fish for dinner' 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' Or 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' 'Cos your clubs got no money, and you like to **** your Mummy' 'I'd rather burn in hell than be a skate' To the tune of 'She'll be coming round the mountain'
  22. Dean Hammond's calf injury has kept the captain on the sidelines since the draw at Millwall and he continues his rehabilitation in the hands of the medical staff. That is what the OS states....
  23. I used to work at with Dan Kerins at KFC in Bitterne (yes laugh all you want but I got free chicken and beer money whilst at college). Passionate Saints fan - Supports Ireland though. Clever chap if I remember. The real Dan Kerins will now state my first name.....
  24. I think we need some perspective. There are some miserable ****s on this forum and that is the reason I hardly ever post. I'm disappointed at the result and that we keep on gicing leads away and I think Pardew makes some odd decision (I actually can't remember a manager who doesn't). I'd love to see us storm the league this season, but I think I'm well adjusted enough to realise that this is a rebuilding season. If it is this time next year and we still have the same problems, fair enough, lets have a proper moan, but until then how about getting behind the team and getting a grip on reality.
