Has Chaplow been mentioned at all?
-
get in there!!!!

A little mention in the report on the OS: Chaplow then won a corner which Aaron Martin nodded wide to rouse the crowd into action. The effort, one that former Saint Dean Richards would have appreciated, as fittingly, the central defender's name rang around the stadium, with the home faithful paying their respects to the former wholehearted centre half who sadly passed away ten days previously. We won, which was good. Pretty bl00dy awful in the first half. Good move for our first goal. Yeovil worked hard but were very very limited (one of the worst technically I've seen in this league). Second half Lallana and Chamberlain got mot more of the ball and it paid dividends, looked much better and played with more urgency. Here are my ratings: David - 6 - not much to do one comfortable save and one dodgy cross. Butterfield - 7- Very steady and really good free kick for the first goal. Fonte - 7- Looked at ease throughout. Martin - 6 - Good in the air but distribution not fantastic. Shows inexperience sometimes, but we have to expect that. Would expect Jaidi back for B'mouth. Harding - 7 - A few sliced clearances but linked up more and more with Lallana as the game progressed, with impressive results. Chamberlain - 7 - Improved as the game went on, pace always worries opponents. Chaplow - 5 - I'm worried with the drop in performance since he has signed permanent. Hammand - 6- Better in seconf half but nothing fantastic Lallana - 9 - Our best player by a mile. One of them players when you want him to turn the player again, even if ot doesn't come of. If he gets injured again I'll be booking my hotel for Manchester. Barnard - 8 - Two well taken goals, good energy and unclucky to get his hatrick - good save by their keeper. Lambert -6 - Unfortunateky didn't seem at the races today, and looked better when he strted to drop deeper in the second half. Gobern - 6- Looks really solid defensively as a midfielder and looks like he culd be good in an attacking sense. Haven';t made my mind up on him yet. Forte - 6- Should have scored. Richardson - Steady - little impact We're not playing amazingly but still picking up results. The wingers are the key.

Well thats two for gonorrhoea. Any Syphilis fans out there? -
Sorry i thought you meant 2nd. Very doubtful we're catch Brighton - can't see them dropping much more than 9 points (that's inclusing us beating them!)
-
To say we have no chance, is pretty defeatist. I'm not saying we're do it, but we obviously have a chance.

I'm not opening this as a debate about whether we will get automatically promoted or not as I think that's been discussed a few times already, but does anyone know what date the league 1 playoff semi-finals will be? I know the final is at the end May. I assume the semi's would be the weekend following the last game of the season and then the following Wednesday? Also is it the position you finish which decide swhether you or home or away first? Trying to organise something in May and want to keep these dates free just in case...

Or running around like hysterical tarts, who have just found a spot on the night of the big prom

Apparently Adkins beat him to the last one in the shop. True story

@SkySportsRachG: Skysports.com understands West Ham have seen their bid for young centre-back Aaron Martin snubbed by Southampton.

Well lets hope so, otherwise it turns from a good window to a bad one... Not that I neccessarily believe the rumours..

So who plays instead then?

1st part: According to a report in Corriere Romagna, Cesena may also find place among the contenders for the Moroccan midfielder Houssine Kharja of Genoa. Former Siena, which also affects the Naples, it appears, by the leadership of Romagna, a goal more easily navigable than the attempt to bring home the Brazilian Guilherme Do Prado, which was sold to Southampton in the summer, whose difficulties are denied on British soil Small by the manager: "It's just a bureaucratic problem as soon as the wife will get British citizenship, will reach the necessary documents for Do Prado. So will the Southtempton, less than sensational surprises, "according to TuttoCesena. 2nd part The IDEA DO PRADO - Yesterday was approached an interest, in fact already quite dated, Do Prado del Toro. The Brazilian military happily in Southampton, but must resolve bureaucratic problems (basically have a residence permit for his wife), otherwise will change teams. With his time as manager has run until January 20 to resolve the issue, otherwise return to Cesena. The Taurus, however, no longer thinks of him since last summer, and in any case, being a playmaker, can not be the priority of Petrachi Do Prado.
