  1. I don’t think Martin trusts him, which is a shame
  2. What a miserable sod
  3. There are fewer more distressing sites than that of an Englishman in a baseball cap.

He has a law degree and apparently is thinking of giving up football to persue his dream of being a lawyer.

  6. I used to enjoy your posts but now your like a patronising Dell Days.
  7. You are a passive aggressive helmet.
  8. Yep was a fantastic save, really strong arm. His issue seems to be from long range low to the left where he just doesn’t seem to set himself right. You’d hope that is coachable though.
  9. This, a little annoyed with our finishing and the mistake for the goal but we really weren’t as awful as people are making out today. I will say when we break the press though we do need to attack quicker and get runners joining the attack.
  10. Did you actually listen? He said he was annoyed we conceded the way we did and that we had to get the second goal. I agree with him that the players have come a long way in terms of playing the football he wants ( whether the football is what the fans want is another question altogether).
  11. All Armas chances seems to come on his left foot today which was a shame
  12. Weird how you’ve gone from overly positive (to the point of denial), to now being a realist. Or maybe it’s a simple as you loved Ralph and don’t really like Martin.
  13. Touch line ban for Huddersfield after picking up 3 bookings
  14. Sorry for your loss.
  15. The only thing I miss is the highlights coverage on terrestrial TV MOTD versus EFL highlights on ITV. Huggy Woodenscroft or whatever his name is at 1 ground and no proper analysis. Just do the usual studio analysis approach, it would easily fix a real bad format. At least there is no Tactics Truck with nobber Townsend.
  16. Not sure you know what point you are trying to make. So when we play well, it’s the players going against the managers wishes. When it doesn’t work it’s Russball…is that right? Maybe, just maybe, when it works the players are doing what the manager wants and when it doesn’t they aren’t.
  17. I don’t think it’s the best way to play to get out of this league per se, but it’s the best way for a team of our calibre to play, and when promoted stay in the Premier League and build like a Brighton for example. Thats my take anyway. If you haven’t seen it check out the Burnley documentary on Sky, it’s not a million miles away from what we are trying to do and it worked for them.
  18. So basically your saying ”the chances we create are too easy and we need to create more difficult half chances” This makes no logical sense. Plenty of reasons to beat Martin with but don’t invent them.
  19. 99 times out of 100 we win that game, I was there and couldn’t believe we drew. Yes there was a period when we’d resorted to slow passing for passings sake just before and after half time. Look at the extended highlights, we did more than enough to win: Smash and grabs do happen.
  20. There you go that’s the optimistic Trousers we know and love. The other colour wasn’t suiting you 😉
  21. 😂😂
  22. What the hell are to you bleating on about, Baz’s distribution was exceptional.
  23. Does XG consider how the goals happen? For example, for XG against if it’s one where we have given the ball away and provide the opposition an easy chance, which the keeper has no chance with, would it go down as a goal we shouldn’t have conceded even though the keeper can’t do much about it? Or is it just the ‘final’ chance/ shot that counts in terms of XGA/XG. I’m not sure if I’m being clear here but I know what I’m trying to ask 😂
  24. The full article also says we couldn’t really spend much as we are teetering on the edge of FFP regs.
  25. That last sentence is a tad bit dramatic.
