So Old Trafford it is then. \\:D/

There were only two weeks between the 1st and 2nd rounds but there are 4 weeks to the next one so I suppose they can afford to wait. I'll take anyone that can fill SMS providing they're not very good.
-
I suspect you're right but we don't have them for every game.
-
There were cameras behind both goals with a cameraman operating the Northam one. That can't have been cheap so why all the cameras if we're only going to get the goals?
-
Believe me, when we are talking about Lowe class doesn't come into it.
-
Would that be the one with the registration 'D GOLD' ? It didn't look blue to me but that was under the street lights. I agree, he must have been disappointed with the way that his team played. By the end of the game they looked completely p!ssed off.

I'm happy to admit that I feel a little bit more confident now that we have Cork and Pekhart on loan but I still feel that the squad is a bit thin and we need a couple more signings. We shan't have a settled squad until the loan window closes at the end of September (?)
-
I think that counts as 'slightly off target'
-
It's a good thing that none of them has school tomorrow.
-
Too soon to say, IMO.
-
And no yellow cards! Have we had any bookings so far?
-
We noticed it too, why is that? We used to have the best playing surface in the country. Now it's not up to the standard of the football.

Just got back. A good, solid professional 2-0 win. I thought that we went off the boil a little in the first 20 mins of the second half when we let Brum string a few passes together but apart from that we were toying with them at times. Their frustration gave rise to a couple of very nasty challenges which with another ref could have resulted in a red card. It would be unfair to single out anyone in particular, they all had a good game, but special mention for Holmes, Cork & Lallana. Wotton impressed me with his quiet efficiency. I wouldn't call it exciting, it was too one-sided for that.

This site should be called 'Saints Reunited'

My condolences to you and your family. Your father is one supporter who will always be with us at every game.

Hi Mighty! I know your area quite well from several holidays there. There are a few hotels around that have Sky Sports but it would be advisable to check with them first. Play d'Aro: Caleta Palace Hotel, Columbus Hotel http://www.caletapalace.es/ http://www.eurocolumbus.es/habeng.html Toroella de Montgri: Picasso Hotel La Bisbal d'Emporda: Hotel Castell d'emporda Good Luck!

Does anybody remember the friendly at the Dell when le Havre beat us? That was a young side who made our players dizzy by passing the ball around them . -
That's a relief. Wake me when it happens.
-
Shall I hold my breath?
-
The competition rules state otherwise. I'm sure that there will be extra time, if necessary!
-
I'm looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see which side has learnt more from the previous meeting and whether their style of play will be changed to suit. Whatever the outcome I'm sure that we can learn something from the game.
-
Yep, I've just checked the competion rules. All ties up to the semis are settled on the night. Interestingly I see that each side can name up to 7 substitutes. http://www.carlingcup.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Rules/0,,11995,00.html

Extra time & penalties, isn't it? I know what you mean. A draw after 90 mins would be a confidence boost - for all of us.
-
Anyone who plays would be cup-tied and their value would be lower. I think that who plays for Brum will have a bigger bearing on the result.

There speaks the voice of reason. What are you doing on this forum? (and thanks for setting it all up, by the way)
