  1. But with the linked in ticket its £50
  2. He's a happy man is Cortese as the club could potentially accrue sales of approx £1.5 million today at £50 a piece per adult x 30,000
  3. Sure is. Before calling it I stuck it into a Google search and it refers you to the UI site. Rang it up and got through immediately and booked tickets for both. Its genuine as when I gave him my customer number he read my address back to me. Some tickets still left in block 41 as well.
  4. Brilliant - thanks. Rang this number and got through first time. He said that the phone lines were down earlier this morning but all up and running now.
  5. Some of the people on here whinging and moaning sum up society today. The use of the word "unfair" is so pathetic its unreal. I haven't got one yet and will keep trying all day if needs be. If I don't get one then that's tough. Next year I might get a season ticket. Everyone who is a Saints fan could have guaranteed themselves a ticket by buying a full or half season ticket. If you didn't and you now have to wait or miss out totally then its your fault and nobody elses.
  6. The 02380 number is a joke. Very ****ed off bloke answered the phone
  7. Which telephone number did you use ?
  8. You got your tickets yet ? If not, then I doubt you will. Spoke to the ticket office today and they said that the rules are being followed strictly and anyone who did somehow manage to get a ticket as you have described, they won't be sent out. I've tried as have several mates using their customer numbers and the online system won't allow it. The club are concerned that if pompey fans get in amongst the home fans there will be trouble and the club could have to play games behind closed doors. Therefore ticket rules are being adhered to.
  9. Glasgow Saint needs to read this thread as the guy is clueless.
  10. Allegedly it was. Only allegedly of course.
  11. Wayne Bridge sent his missus a replica of his **** made from Cadburys chocolate. She said that she prefers Terrys.
  12. everyone relax. We'll win this yet. 2-0
  13. yawn yawn, bloody yawn.
  14. The club is not lacking ambition. Looking at the activity in the transfer market. They are also saying the right things i.e. we want to try and get in the playoffs. But they have to say that. Some of the supporters could be accused of lack of ambition, including me. But I would actually say that we're just being realistic. Miracles don't happen in any walk of life overnight. Good things take time and patience is what is required. We will get there next season with a stable managment, playing staff, chief exec, owner etc. I also believe that within 4 years we will be back in the Premiership. That was the goal when ML took over - a realistic but also ambitious goal.
  15. According to whom ?
  16. Only bronze at best for you sonny.
  17. All of the sides that you mentioned had a proper pre-season with a stable player base with a proper manager and coaches dealing with them before Lambert etc arrived at their respective clubs. None of them were in administration and facing meltdown. Next ?
  18. Knew it wouldn't be long before the village idiot arrived.
  19. You don't really, seriously, want a reply to this do you ? Please tell me you don't. Shall I give you a small clue why we are mid-table ? minus 10 points. No pre-season. A new team still being constructed as we speak. Do you want me to go on ?
  20. Thankfully not many of our players are like you and wouldn't therefore have assumed anything. You're in a minority of one in so many ways.
  21. You obviously know nothing about building a team in football or in business. It takes time to achieve success. Money does not provide an immediate answer. It will however tell in the long term. Get in your car. Point it north and keep going until you fall off a cliff.
  22. Everyone should get the idea of promotion this season out of their heads. It is never going to happen and was never going to happen. What we have achieved so far this season is a bloody miracle. There are some real idiots on this forum who have serious personality disorders. Have people forgotten where we were only six months ago ? We were within days if not hours of going out of existence. We had no club. Pardew was appointed late in the summer. We had no meaningful pre-season. We started at home to Milwall with minus ten points and a very poor team who had never played together before. The people who are criticising now should go and support another club. The rest of us will enjoy the remainder of this season with some wins and a top half finnish, a place at Wembley in the JPT and a brilliant home cup match against Pompey with the possibility of a quarter final place in the fa cup. I think that what ML, NC and Mr Pardew have achieved in such a short space of time is quite incredible and I am eternally grateful to all three of them. Pardew never had to come to us. He could have got a job in the Championship if he had waited. Show some loyalty and back the team. Next season is for promotion, not this.
  23. We were singing "Shoes off if you love the Saints, shoes off if you love the Saints......" Very amusing - nothing to do with the Arabs at Pompey I'm afraid
  24. just booked my tickets. They said that approx 2800 have been sold
  25. I was at the Ricoh this evening as a guest of clients - just back from a late curry. The people at Coventry are all saying that the deal is done and there are just one or two minor contractual issues to sort out and that as of this evening he is as good as a Saints player. They are absolutely gutted - make no mistake. They rate him very highly.
