  1. Well despite the lack of our top players we still more than matched a top half Championship side for an hour, until Pardew threw on lots of youngsters. I'm not going to worry just yet but then again I have the benefit of having seen the game myself rather than sitting miles away fretting.
  2. Bacon
  3. I for one am happy that the club aren't commenting on this bloody drivel being spouted by people who know nothing. As has been demonstrated by ML and NC already, they talk when there is something to say, not for the sake of getting their names in the papers.
  4. I don't think I have ever met a Bournemouth supporter. Horrible bloody place.
  5. Yeah it's called supporting your team mush. We have endured years of rubbish and now the tide has turned why shouldn't we enjoy it?
  6. Am I the only one that reads that as saying that the PL would not regard them as having special circumstances and so would in all likeyhood deduct points in the event of them going into administration.
  7. Hey Jolly how about a good hoodie? Rags
  8. So far this season they have sold Johnson to Liverpool without having paid Chelsea the sell-on money they made for him and now they seem to be fielding two players that they haven't paid for. This is just what we know about of course, what other dodgy deals are yet to be revealed I wonder. The skates seem to be completely ignoring the rules that everyone else has to play by. I accused them of buying their cup win but it seems I was wrong, they actually stole it. The Prem League seem unwilling to bring them to book, I suppose they are as guilty.
  9. Been there several times and I love it, it has everything. If you like culture go to the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmuseum they are fantastic. I dare anyone not to be moved by a visit to Anne Franks house, despite the long queues. The coffee shops and red light district are a good laugh but a bit touristy (if you really want your eyes opened get yourself off to Bangkok) and safe enough at night as long as you don't get into conversation with any of the so called "charlie boys" - the Africans who will try to sell you something stronger than youget in the coffee shops. Amsterdam is a beautiful city to explore and the locals are dead friendly. The opposite side of town away from the red light area is more bohemian and low key. The only down side for me is that Amsterdam is quite an expensive place now, eating out is quite pricey for example.
  10. They are in the brown stuff alright. For a relatively modest sum Mr Leibherr acquired a prem quality stadium, training ground and fanbase with the chance to make huge strides for a small investment. What would any buyer of pfc be getting? It would take massive investment to get them anywhere near solvent again, especially after their players have been sold in January which is now inevitable.
  11. Well that's how it was sung at the Dell mate, by the WHOLE ground and it would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It's or song, slowly or quickly sung, we don't copy anyone.
  12. You too eh?
  13. I think the late drama on Tuesday night has made everyone forget that for large parts of the game we didn't actually play very well. We will need to improve massively for the Leeds game but having said that I do believe that we will do just that and also that Leeds are showing signs of cracking. A good 2-2 would be alright by me but I wouldn't be surprised if we sneaked it.
  14. I thought it was funny as ****. I loved it when Papa went and picked him up to rescue him from the stewards. Gave the nipper his shirt too. Nice one Papa!
  15. I the second half Norwich should have been down to 9 men for their cynical dirty play. The guy near the end was tring to get our player sent off, it was right in front of me and there was clearly no contact. Their manager should be asking why we scored in the injury time that was added on due to their own cynical tactics - sweet
  16. Alan Pardew said we should let our hair down and put on our best frocks for the Leeds game so I expect everyone will be in drag.
  17. That just about sums it up. Kuti has done more to maintain our waterside heritage than Southampton council. The city of portsmouth have made the most of their naval heritage and developed the run down docks area into a thriving shopping/nightlife/residential/tourist area. We have a delapidated pier, a Thai restuarant and a park with a Mr Whippy van. How can we expect Southampton to do anything so ambitious as staging World Cup games?
  18. Advice to anybody considering not going to the game because it might rain: Get a coat
  19. I'm with you all the way my friend. I'm not interested in being resonable or grown up as far as the skates are concerned. I won't even have a blue toothbrush FFS! The island that they infest should be set adrift from the British Isles. Supporting Saints goes hand in hand with detesting them.
  20. If they were giving us tickets at the expense of Orient fans going to watch their team they might have a reason to moan but seeing as they barely half fill the ground I can't see the problem with so many Saints fans taking up seats they don't fill.
  21. It was the game that clinched our promotion, Tony Funnel scored the equaliser we needed and at the end of the game the surge forward pushed the wall over - I was stood against it and my Dad lifted me over it onto the pitch. I believe that the wall had gone over the week before and was not put back properly, it was only breeze block I think.
  22. Ha ha ha is there anything you lot won't argue about on this site!!! LOL!!
  23. .... right up until he doesn't get his own way, throws the toys out of his pram and walks away in a girly huff. Yep, great buzz that. I'm sure Newcastle love the buzz surrounding the court case.
