I wiped a bogey on the cover of redknapp's autobiography in Waterstones in West Quay
-
I didn't question his contribution on the pitch which us beyond criticism. Just because you dont want to hear it doesn't make it untrue.Lambert came to Saints a stone overweight and left us an England player, I'd say Saints were pretty good for him too. If it makes you happy to dismiss other viewpoints rather than engage them perhaps you're in the teenager category yourself? At least I now understand why this place is called the mong board everywhere else.

Lambert was a massive disruptive influence off the pitch after West Ham tapped him up in the January before he left and Saints blocked his big payday. The club were glad to see the back of him and Liverpool gave them an easy out without upsetting the fans. There's no way he's coming back here even if his form was good but he's finished now unfortunately.

Saints 2 Reading 0 - Post Match Reactions
Carlos Fandango replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Nigel did a fantastic job for us, he got us to where we are now. He was sacked because we are now stepping up to the next level and we needed a step up in manager to achieve this. It's about having the right man for the right job. -
that's a coincidence then that when "left to it" he plays the formation that was supposed to have been forced upon him. Really, if you're blaming NC and Reed for our poor start you have to credit them for our recent improvement. You can't have it both ways. Adkins finally has the right players in the right positions of the best formation, its as simple as that, no conspiracy.

A good chairman does what is best for his own club by bringing the best people he can into the club and then empowering them to do the best they can. So far two promotions would suggest that up until this point our chairman has got more right than wrong. This season will test him and everyone else as its a huge step up so we will see what he is made of. It is all well and good being the big fish in a small pond but from here on we are back to being small fry. Interesting times ahead for sure. Let's hope he continues to grow with us eh?

Maybe the Palace Boss in question should look to his own management, he let a prized player's contract run out. There is also the possibility that it's him that's taking the mick asking for an unrealistic transfer fee for an out of contract playr, it's just not our chairman's style to run to the press grizzling about it though.

But we don't know what is happening and we only have the Tweets of Puncheon to go on so the fact that nobody comes out of this well is solely down to the public whingeing from Puncheon. He needs to be a bit more professional if he wants a move. If he is half as good as he thinks he is surely asking £1m for him isn't out of order and we shouldn't be selling him to our main promotion rivals.

your club has no chane of getting a celtic star player .

I admit I am disrespectful towards the scottish game, mainly because it's sh@t. I'm not so arrogant, however, as to register for another team's forum and make a tool of myself. Please hurry up and give the Scots their independance so we don't have to endure their constant whining. -
If you are talking about the industrial estate behind Meridian by the Farmhouse pub I would be very careful parking in there, especially for evening games. Mine was one of 12 cars that was broken into during the Boro game a few weeks ago. The police very helpfully advised me not to park there as it's easy for the little sh@ts to get away. Not that the police intend to do anything about it of course. I don't park there now.

This is absolutely what happened. Pardew to Newcastle was a done deal ages before he left and Cortese got wind of it. Cortese had no choice.

No pace, totally one footed and tends to pass sideways. More like a poor man's Jim Magilton.

Seeing as Brighton had already won the league and we cannot catch them I fail to see what advantage we possibly gained by playing on Monday. We played more games than they did during April, many would see this fixture pile up as a disadvantage and I'm sure that monkey boy would be grizzling into his banana juice if they had to play so many games close together. What a graceless ***t.

Well I would be in that video then, rather embarrasing. I was marched across in front of the Milton and thrown out, only to meet the Millwall lads outside. The return leg at the old Den was a scary evening and I remember the Millwall fans on the other side of the fence showing off their big carving knives at us. Horrible.

The most lively action of that game happened in the West Stand benches at half time and Bedford Place.

Had an email from the Soul Cellar today and they are promoting pre-match beer and food. Would be a great venue for pre-match lads.

My initial reaction to your post is that while I admire your enthusiasm and loyalty to an ex player, your punctuation could do with some work because that was quite a long sentence.

Saints 2 - 0 Blackpool - Post match reaction

Perhaps if Holloway wants respect from opposition fans he should try showing us some respect by sending a full strength side. -
Everyone is having games postponed so we aren't any worse off than the rest of the teams in our league. We're probably better off in fact because our training facilities are better than many in league 1.

The police clearly want to show the fans that they are monitoring them. The CCTV in the stadium would provide the police with much better pictures for their "intelligence" but I guess that they want to try and put the wind up a few supporters. Just goes to show how completely clueless the police are at SMS as was demonstrated by their policing of the pompey game.
-
Well done Stu and the gang, hound out our chairman to prove how clever you are and then see what we are left with. Not that you will be affected sitting in the pub on matchdays instead of actually supporting your team.

An Infraction Busting, Edgy Thread..

Great to hear praise of our club and players. What a shame we have such sad fans that have to try and snipe and look clever at such positive news. -
Why were so many of our "best first XI" in the league missing ?
