+ with Boufal on his way and young Hesketh stepping up we at least have ample competition for that position which should result in some exciting football over the season.

Think he has upped his game a lot so far this season. Finding him very exciting to watch. Even in the Watford game the only moment of excitement for me was a jinxing run from him. Yes he can improve but he's been a standout player imo this season!

Just saw that he is out. Instant thought was that it is a shame for us because he's looked poor so far. A couple of spectacular errors against WBA stand out. Was hoping he'd assist Austin in a similar fashion!

It's not a make or break game but I agree with the attitude in the approach to these types of games. We beat all the big teams once last season and should be going there confident of bringing back all three points. I don't know if its psychological with the slow start but suddenly Arsenal away feels a daunting prospect, and in terms of the team progressing it really shouldn't. But we will see... Play well and bring back all three points then Puel is a hero and diamonds are forever... (perhaps wishful thinking)

I know this is quite petty, but i was a bit gutted Puel made absolutely no attempt to acknowledge the fans. After sitting on a bus for 8 hours to get there it would have been a good opportunity to try and begin some sort of connection. Hopefully we do the talking on the pitch come next Saturday.

Would be nice to get a clean sheet but can see a certain Mr Defoe having a different opinion. Wish I shared some of the optimism of other posters but just a touch sceptical so gunna guess a 1-1. A few more games before jumping to any judgement but early impressions different to those of Koeman certainly.

It looks good in some pictures. Think i'll reserve opinion til I see it for real. Curious to know if the badge is sewn or ironed on as cant quite make it out. Seen a few adverts for the kit on non saints related websites. Perhaps branching out the campaign further, as I don't recall internet ads like that of bigger clubs for past kits?
