Agree. No one wanted to know about his personal issues, just when he was able to play. When we signed Bednarek, for a relatively equivalent sum at the time, club were open about when he would be integrated in to the first team, so why the secrecy now? Just give an honest update without any personal stuff (e.g. if someone is not mentally sound, than just call it an injury and not specify). Having him on the bench for a few games without any reserve games is just nuts.

Really? I am not so sure, he is what 29 and probably close to 30 by the time he leaves. Who is going to pay 30M+ in the current crisis. All clubs are struggling with income including the top 6. Spurs are the only one that come to mid, but Levy will not pay anywhere near what we will look for and is being backup for Kane a move up? Will he be any better off outside the top 6 than he is here? Very much doubt it. Think it's just agent trying to get the most money. If not and he wants to leave than fine, we will have to replace him sooner or later (max 3 years) in any case.

We are better than we were last year/years and a gradual improvement, so that's a positive. I think anyone who thought we were the finished article or havens forbid champions material now know we are some way off that. Our starting 11 is fairly decent - can it be improved, sure but with our spending power it will be tough. Beyond that we are average at best. Ralph is a great manager but blind sighted in some aspects - plan B for counteracting "park the bus" teams, too slow to bring on subs at times, and for someone who is famed for blooding new/youth players he's been very hesitant - ok, not everyone at the same time but an odd 30 minutes here and here to see if there is potential in our reserves? Overall though in over 40 years of supporting the Saints I think this is one of our better moments and long may it continue - just frustrating that with just a bit more investment we could be so much better.

Exactly right. Just like watching Netflix on Sky - you need to have Netflix (or in this case Prime) subscription to set up the app on Sky the first time you watch it. My problem is I cannot get it outside the UK - even with VPN. I can get iPlayer via VPN but obviously Amazon are smarter. Bummer really as I don't mind paying

Anyone know if you can watch matches outside the UK on Prime? I have Prime and can watch movies etc. but never managed to find the live games - maybe it's lack of my tech savvy skills?

Don't get the Gao neg's. Only thing he hasn't done is invest his own money - which he said right from the off that he would not, and 90+% of owners don't either. He has not interfered in anyway and left the on-field stuff to the board/manager. Our main problems (which we are working through fairly well finally) are not down to him, rather stupid decisions made by people he trusted to do their jobs (Les et al). Careful what you wish for - would you rather Vincent Tan as owner? Don't get me wrong, not saying he's a saint (pun intended) but we could be a lot worse off.

Relax - it's happening. Him, Berty and Ings - just a bit of final horse trading to get out of the way. It's a no brainer for all sides, so can't see it not happening but you never know until the weight challenged female has exercised her vocal cords 🙂

Exactly. Apparently Fraser is on £80 per week, so Theo on a free (if he does well over the season) at £60 to 80K would make sense for all sides on a rolling 12 month contract with pay as you play bonus. Certainly a much lesser risk than some of our recent so called mega signings!

Not sure where all the doom and gloom is coming from - just the national mood with everything that's going on?? Ings will sign a new contract -slightly better terms, not massive and will end his playing days with us. He loves it here - earns a decent amount and is our star/main man - he's not about to risk that.

Site problems is one thing - very poor as it may be, but for the owner (Steve) to not have given an update for about 2 weeks is even worse. Has he also given up?
