My ST is in JJ. Love it up there. Can see the whole pitch, though reckon maybe AA might be ideal.

Pretty shambolic,. I tried to order a ticket where I usually sit (Kingsland Premium), gives me a ticket number, go through to complete and it says either a ticket already allocated or not eligible. Try a few times same message. So times out. Go for it again, and all those tickets gone. So book somewhere else and it works. Can anyone upgrade themselves or does the type of ST you have limit to what is on offer?

Has anyone got a link that isn't Sky? I've got my parent's Sky Go, but I can't stand ex LFC players commentating.

We're the price of a Mbappe.

Not much point even pretending the PL is going to be competitive any more. Glad that my love of football is on the wane, as I'll prob see how next season goes, given that my ST money is still with the club, and then take it from there.

They seem to think that the domestic leagues are just going to accept it, given that the 5 late comers are going to be joining based on domestic achievements.

Have to agree with you, and why my love of footie is diminished thought I carry on blindly with Saints. What's the point? I view it as a way to escape the wife rather than expecting to win anything.

An eternal optimist.

Have we ever signed a player from Serie A with a bad attitude 🤔

I'm ready too, though in all honesty, prob best as an 80th min sub, or maybe even better after the 85th min

.....bring someone in, or think Diallo will be cover for Bertrand.

You can now get a full refund for the whole balance outstanding. https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-01-15/southampton-fc-refunds-for-202021-season-tickets

It is disappointing that the club give an undertaking to refund within 14 days of the game and cannot stick to it. Let's face it, it is an abuse of the good will of their customers. They give an undertaking in order to sell the season tickets, and then they don't stick to what they say. And frankly, the silence on this from the club just exacerbates things. Like @Katalinic and @whelk I'm not overly bothered (as I know the money will come back at some stage), but it's the principle of it. And as a total aside, I find the £2.50 credit card charge to be petty, and I damn well want that refunded as well 😋

I'd start with Forster Valery, Stephens, Salisu, Voikins Tella, Diallo, Smallbone, Redmond Long, N'Lundulu Or if Diallo is ahead of Romeu, have Rom start. If Vestergard is back on games, then maybe have him in to get up to speed.

Now 6pm & nowt arrived, so nothing happening today. Have to say, somewhat disappointed. EDIT - well I just checked again (11.20pm), and I have had 2 matches refunded. Better than nothing, but really, Man City should be there too as that is past 2 weeks now, and maybe West Ham as well. This is all Mickey Mouse by the club.

Aren't we all?

In Jully or whenever it was, things were looking a bit better than they are now. There was a optomistic hope that we might be back at SMS at some stage. That's why I bought my ticket, backed up with the 2 week guarantee. Plus I thought it might help cash flow for the club - but that they "shaft" the paying customer by taking a month + to refund when they said 2 weeks, that isn't good.

Have we been unlucky with ref/VAR decisions in the previous 4 games.
angelman replied to allsa001's topic in The Saints
Have we been unlucky?? I guess that depends on your view - me, I'd say no - but what you have to do is to separate the subjective from the objective. Offside is offside. If a goal is ruled out for that, then no, it's not unlucky. To me, it should be kept to feet position to make things that more simple, and remove the (incorrect) feelings of unfairness when some other body part strays over that line. So penalties, the subjective bit. Some you win, some you don't. Because it is largely subjective, you'll always get those who think it is (un)lucky. -
Just waiting for Real Madrid to come in for Mark Hughes, though having played for the other lot might be too big an issue to overcome. 🤓

So will that also include the Man City game, as the middle of next week is over 2 weeks from when the game was played?

I bloody well hope they refund me my 2 STs for Man U, Sheff U and Man C all at the same time and not just the Man U game TBH nor do I. I know what I have actually received and what is due, but it seems different to what it says on purchase history, where it states I have refunds dated... 29/09/20 12/10/20 23/10/20 27/10/20 01/12/20 14/12/20 I received payments on 05/10/20 x 1 game 16/10/20 x 1 game 02/11/20 x 2 games I'm guessing the last 2 on my Purchase History (01/12 & 14/12) are the Man U and Sheff U games that have been processed but quite why it takes 4 weeks to still not arrive is piss poor. As to the person who asked why some of us bothered to buy a ST, well, it was something one might have naively looked forward to using at some stage. Also the club were pretty persistent on the telephone calling me. And given the guarantee of repayment that they said they'd have (was it before 14 days of the game) then that seemed fine with me. It's not really the money aspect now, but the principle of it all. A company with a turnover in excess of £100m and which pays players of £86m a year, really should look after its customers in a better way, and stick to what they said would happen.

As far as I can see things.... has a double payment on 2nd Nov, and single ones on 5th and 16th Oct, ie 4 payments back from the 7 homes games so far. Which would mean that I am owed for Man United, Sheffield United and Man City games. If they say that they were going to repay within 2 weeks, then Man Utd should definitely have been done by now

I have my ticket, and my brother's ticket care of me. My brother isn't in the area, can I take my son instead?
-
Haha. Do you know, I hadn't even noticed that, but then again I'm not sure I've really taken much notice of KO times since we've been shut out. Guess I won't be going this time, which suits me actually, as maybe the time after I can take my lad (who can't make this Sunday)
