  1. I can't understand PFC. They are whinging about not being competitive when really they should be bl**dy grateful that they are still in existence. I think that they really should view the situation as fighting for survival rather than fighting for promotion (that is unless an idiot with more money than sense walks through the door). If they don't think that they can be competitive, then perhaps they should consider pulling out of the Championship and entering a competition that they feel that their situation can cope with. I just wish they would stop bleating on about how hard done they are. As for the signing of new players, I have said before that a rule to the temporary lifting of the embargo should allow them only to sign players from a lower English league team.
  2. you just want to tell a few scousers and they'll do the rest.
  3. I would do what he did to Jamie Bulger, and lay him on the rail tracks and let a train decapitate him, obviously after a bit of torture.
  4. Best of luck to you and I hope this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-10717922) doesn't happen to you. 100km in 24 hours - that is an average of 2.6mph, which is a pretty quick walk over 24 hours. Do you have to jog/run some of it?
  5. I am not sure it would make a great difference to the case as the law is the law regardless of whether you support their rivals or not. The judge will look at non payment of VAT etc rather than where the prosecution watches football. Having said that HMRC are not stupid and would realise the PR potential (bad).
  6. 6 months!!! I managed 2 days there. What on earth were you doing? And did you visit the ladies in their corrugated iron huts, or aren't they there any more? Best place I visited (20 years ago now) was the Kimberley, apart from the month that I got "stuck" in Cairns (while the world cup was on). Worst thing was travelling around with a skate!
  7. Can't watch films as I always fall asleep in them. Started watching V for Vendetta last week. Started at 9.30 and I reckon I saw an hour of it before waking up a 2.30 (and I hadn't had that much to drink either!!)
  8. and how much was Android after for him? Seems that the Jewish Chronicle have got a scoop...! http://www.thejc.com/sport/sport-news/35976/exclusive-ben-haim-west-ham-move-doubt
  9. so obviously not a fan of Joe Jordan. Can't blame you really, seeing as he was at Nottarf for so long. If I had another son, chance would be a fine thing, how about Charlie George.
  10. Surely that can't be the case, can it? How could anyone be that naive??
  11. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/Donkey-Parasails-Over-Russian-Beach-Cruel-Video-Of-Abusive-Publicity-Stunt-In-Golubitskaya/Article/201007315667950?lpos=World_News_Carousel_Region_4&lid=ARTICLE_15667950_Donkey_Parasails_Over_Russian_Beach%3A_Cruel_Video_Of_Abusive_Publicity_Stunt_In_Golubitskaya Here's some footage...
  12. Perhaps PL put him in there to make sure he could handle any bad news that might emerge. Not sure what would have happened if Poop refused. Would be interesting to know how much he is earning and who is paying him. Speculation of course.
  13. To be fair to Poop, and I think that the FA will also agree, they have to get rid of the high earners otherwise they will sink even quicker than they already are. I will confess to not knowing the ins and outs of Poopey's squad, but I am not sure how many affordable but crâp players they have let go. Is it a lot?
  14. Maybe they should sign up Antii again. Apparently he earned something like £450k for his stint there, and can anyone remind me how many minutes he played in the first team??????!!!
  15. what exactly is his role there? and has he actually done anything at all? Is he there to make sure that the shredders aren't pressed into action or is there some other thing he is supposed to be doing?
  16. How can the FL sanction lifting the embargo to get 20 players? They get rid of all the carp players and replace them (if they can convince someone that they will be paid) with better players. Hardly playing fair. I can't see FL deciding which players they can sign and which they can't as that would be a legal nightmare and far too subjective. Much easier to say no too everyone. Failing that, maybe they should only be allowed to sign players from the lower leagues - I guess that would work to fill their squad, but would anyone want to go to Pooey?
  17. Sure you're not. It was so big it just jumped into your view. Easy for that to happen.
  18. Dune, gypsies aren't British they are Romanies.
  19. Took the kids to the High Corner Inn at Linwood (Ringwood) way and that seemed to go OK. Seem to recall that they had a good play area for the small ones. Food was average, and like a lot of pubs around, they seem to have done it up in an Olde Worlde style and failed miserably. Nice walk from there if you like to walk off your pint.
  20. Not sure HMRC have levied any fines.
  21. Even that is pushing it isn't it? When you take in attitude problems which he has had in the past, why would anyone bother?
  22. It wasn't quite like that when I had the kids there. Was a nice day so was already outside, but I do agree that it isn't the most welcoming sentence OH and one big black mark - their ice cream is Italian when IMO New Forest Ice Cream is (some of) the best you can get.
  23. how did Bournemouth work it? Did they have quite a big first team squad when the embargo was enforced or did they rely on the academy?
  24. What you do when trying to paint lines and come across a dead badger is use your toe to shove it out the way so that you can carry on and do your job properly rather than being some idiotic jobsworth who claims they aren't trained to move a dead animal. I am sure that if they found a dead animal in their garden they would be able to move it.
