Am I right in thinking Saints gave £20k in one of the earlier attempts? TBH, I was a little disappointed that more PL and then PL & Champ clubs didn't help. Maybe I am a bit biased as he is Saints, but if all PL clubs chipped in £20k, then he would easily have reached his target, and let's face it, cancer is something that affects us all.

I am torn now, as I dislike Liverpool and Spurs equally. Liverpool win and we get some more payment (I think). Spurs win and Pochettino leaves them (schadenfreude) - can't work out which I want. Both will be equally obnoxious winning it, and will bang on for years and years and years about it. So maybe on balance Liverpool.

I want the final to be with the team that is going to give Liverpool the hardest match.

Me, I've always said that I want all English teams to fail. We are trying to compete with them in the PL, and success in Europe just gives them even more money and makes it even harder to compete. Why anyone wants, say, Liverpool to make an extra £100m or what ever it is, is just bizarre.

I don't blame them, as they would be under the microscope and you get all sort of morons threatening them for making this or that decision. Can you imagine what sort of reaction a ref would face if he had sent Silva off, they lose and Liverpool win the league? If it is blatant, then that's fine. Steve, last home game of the season is usually Cat A. But as for prices, I like to compare to other forms of entertainment, namely the Mayflower theatre. I am in Kinglsland Premium at just shy of £39 average per game. Now if you compare that to the price of a show, it is pretty much in line with them. I guess the difference is that I am buying 18 games worth, as opposed to going to the Mayflower 2 or 3 times a year (or less if I can avoid being dragged there by the Mrs).
